Hello I am looking to spread the word on my project on kickstarter , Dragonball SQ which can be found here http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1775666028/dragonball-sq
Dragon Ball SQ is an online animated series based off of a fan comic I created ( it's in the middle of being completely redrawn) which you can find here

Im not making any money off of this project it is fan made for the fans free to all based off of my free online comic http://moffett1990.deviantart.com/gallery/42865389 all the characters are OCs , im not claiming any rights to Db DBZ DBGT just like the af animations or absalon

but technically you are by getting "backers". even if you your self do not keep the money. or that it how i am seeing it. of course, i could be completely off.

Technically one cannot prove they arent making profit unless an audit proves otherwise, and even then it is revenue without royalty for copyrighted and trademarked content.

The money is donated by dbz fans who want to see the animation done therefore I can not get in trouble, plus the money is being paid o the animator for the cost of doing the animation , but at the moment its put on hold until i have a better trailer and more to tell about the project im also going to look more into the legal stuff and be 100 % sure i wont get in trouble but like i said before there have been projects done on indiegogo and kickstarter for dbz animations that raised the money and did the work and they got in no trouble and DragonBall absalon didnt get shut down either

Just because they don't get in trouble doesn't mean it's not legal. You could probably get away with it if it's considered Fair User or Parody, but I'm not even sure you could with this. Just be careful!
