I own both consoles, and while play them equally, I will have to go with the ps2 on this one. The ps2 has a broader selection of games, and is more of an rpg platform than the gamecube. Although, I wasn't very found of only having two controller ports, it really didn't matter to me that much, because I mainly play rpgs anyways. The gamecube has some of my favorite franchises, but is lacking in some genres. However, I have yet to have played Resident Evil 4, so my vote is tentative for the moment. I do not plan on owning a ps3 though, I will probably purchase a Wii, and then posssilby an Xbox360 pending on the game selection.
