I got this the other day and it absolutely rules, I don't understand why it wasn't more popular, I seriously reccomend that if you see it going cheap in EB or where ever you snap a copy up. It really is an amazing game. I hope Ubisoft make a sequel one day...

It's an absolutely brilliant game that deserves a Wii-quel.

shame on its length but the res of the game makes up for it by far
i'd die for a wii-quel (maybe not, as then i wouldnt be able to play it :P)

Very underrated game. It's very good. With Mike Ancel praising the Wii continuously, let's just hope he transfers that love through a Wii sequel.

It isn't underrated, it was just going up against bigger Ubisoft franchises during a bad year for them and so BG&E got pulled from shelves to attempt to cut costs. It got good reviews though...

Yeah, it got really great reviews (maybe because it was released at budget prices straight away? I doubt that's the whole story) but didn't sell too well; not a visible franchise, not enough publicity, blah blah blah.

Good, fun game from what I remember. Might buy it some time. Good ol BeGooVil.

On a (slightly) related note, anyone read the book called Beyond Good and Evil?

Yeah, it's kinda Zelda-esque in the fighting and exploration mechanics. Kinda fun.

It was ??20 (~???30) at launch on the Gamecube... probably not much at all now, a few years on.

yeah, the fighting's pretty awesome, with the combo's of smashing stuff in front of you, then linking that to hitting stuff behind you. and its just awesome when the fighting just seamlessly goes into slow motion while you fight sometimes, like the very first fight. it just works so well
