I actually really liked the progression of the pictures.  One man's insanity is another man's epiphany and genius has always been subject to radical criticism. Granted, I acknowledge that the man was slowly overcome by a mental illness, but my point remains.  In the context of history a man will always be seen more for the things that he did rather then what caused him to do so.

Also, this... well, kind of bad news. I mean, yeah, it's on the Xbox 360, whoopee, but it could have rocked on the PS3 along WITH the Xbox.

It is going to be on both platforms -- that's kinda the point.  Up until today it was supposed to be a PS3 exclusive.

I'm actually not very interested in Final Fantasy XIII, though for some reason Final Fantasy XIII Versus looks awesome, (maybe because it's an Action-RPG?).

LittleBigPlanet - It looks fun and I'd like to fool around with the level editor.

RE5 - I'm guessing it'll be pretty awesome, (despite the shift from Survival Horror).

Prince of Persia - I liked most of the older games as well as Assassins parkour.

Mirror's Edge - Just watch the trailer.

HL2:3 - I need some closure with the story.

Banjo-Kazooie:Nuts & Bolts - It should be fun.

Prototype - Looks fun and I loved Ultimate Destruction.

Edge of Twilight -
If you haven't heard of it, look it up. It sounds interesting.

God of War III - I feel no need to explain this one.

Darksiders: Wrath of War - It's supposedly like a LoZ/GoW hybrid -- awesome.

First off --
EVERYONE CALM THE !@#$% DOWN.

Secondly, they damned well better include the animated cut-scenes from the PSX port.  That is all, you may now proceed to continue the discussion.   :-*

What about something along the lines of a gift card or store credits for something like Amazon.com?  Nothing major, maybe 10-20 dollars.  Hmm...

^This.  It's a thread essentially identical to this that was created just yesterday, (and in the right board... :P).

Locked.

Drawings, paintings, photography, and other stuff like that should be posted here.  Technically artwork should be uploaded here:

http://www.zfgc.com/forum/index.php?action=gallery;cat=1

Not many members regularly look there, much less comment, (unless they're looking for sprites/tiles for game creation), so this is the best place to post this.

Anyway, I like it quite a bit. It's very emotive, good job with that.  :D

Yeah with Pokemon.
We can do it with Zelda!
:D

Nope, it's already been done.  Mammy made a topic in Spam parodying it the first time this was posted about here.

Entertainment / Wario Land: Shake It!

Quote
Within an ancient globe exhibited at a museum, there is another world called Yuretopia. Yuretopia’s peace is shattered by the marauding pirate Shay King. Queen Melfull and her Melfull subjects are imprisoned and Shay King claims the legendary “Deldel Purse”, which spits out coins when shaken. Female pirate Captain Maple Syrup observes Yuretopia’s crisis from the outside world. Desiring the legendary treasure, she steals the Ancient Globe and sends it to Wario to avoid the actual work of stealing it. Wario prepares to raid the kingdom when one of the Melfull escapes to the outside world in hopes of finding help. Beseeched by the Queen to become a hero to the kingdom, Wario sets off to Yuretopia.

So... is it just me, or does this game look !@#$% amazing?  I guess I've always liked the Wario Land games, so that's probably part of it, plus the hand-drawn sprites and such look awesome.  Some of the gameplay almost reminds me of Yoshi's Island.

Discuss.

Not bad, but I hope you realize what you've done by making this topic... I think all of the sheep here are likely to turn this into a fad, so prepare for 9,001 topics copying this.  It's inevitable really.  XD

Looked hugely overrated. Just like I Am Legend. I hope I'm surprised, but the concept doesn't look that good.

Set your expectations low and you'll enjoy it, but if you buy into all the hype it'll be a huge disappointment.  I thought it was good, but definitely not good enough to sell more tickets than "WALL-E" on its opening weekend.  In contrast with the other big summer movies so far I'd say it's about on par with "Get Smart" overall.

I'm going to see it tonight, not as a comedy, more of an action film.
I am hoping that it's gonna be good.

If you want to see a good action movie go to "Wanted" instead.  It's !@#$% awesome. "The Incredible Hulk" would also be a good choice -- it's not as good as "Iron Man" or "Wanted", but it's still pretty decent.  Don't get me wrong, "Hancock" isn't bad or anything... it's just not as good as some of the other options.

Eh, it's fine, but in the future try not to post twice in a row unless you have a significant update.  Anyway, I'm sure he'll post an update soon enough.  Creating something great takes time.

I'm sure it would bother me not having the option -- I can imagine that having a little version of myself running around would be cool.  At the same time I can't justify bringing a child into the world with over-population and all the other terrible things going on in the world.

I do want to be a parent eventually, but I decided a while ago that when that time comes I'll adopt.  Raising a child that wouldn't otherwise have a family to call their own is commendable no matter how you look at it.

Entertainment / Re: ZOMG CHRONO TRIGGER DS HAHAHA
« on: July 02, 2008, 09:32:16 pm »
That's not really necessary Swiftu...

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that it's only going to be an enhanced port with added content/features instead of a 3D remake.  Don't get me wrong, I've been pretty impressed by what S-E has been able to accomplish on the DS, but I really think that Chrono Trigger on the DS in 3D would definitely be a downgrade visually.  I'm not a graphics-!@#$%, but CT is a very good looking game to begin with, so if they ever did it in 3D I'd hope that they'd do it right, (i.e. on any of the current-gen consoles, or even the PSP).

I'm going to say this preemptively -- if any one feels the need to spam in this topic I will not hesitate to lock it immediately.  Keep your comments on-topic and relatively mature and it's fine.

Actually, I can even help answer some questions for all you pretty ladies.   ;)

Okay. You are an idiot.

Sim City is a different kind of game, you build it up in game as you go along as dictated by the game engine. It's a Sim game. That's how they roll.
LBP: Never heard of it.
RPGmaker is just that: a maker. This should be therefore released as a "Super Mario Engine" or "Super Mario Maker", not as (and I quote) your "Mario game"

Please don't call others names.

Also, LittleBigPlanet is similar in nature, though it does have an actual story mode aside from the level-editor, (though the level-editor seems to be the main attraction).

Anyway, let's not argue whether or not this is a full game and instead comment on the actual project.
