Thank god, another person I know that I'll be able to play multiplayer with!  I'm going to pick it up in about half-hour from now.

Yeah, it was performance + reliablility vs. DLC, achievements, controller, and a lot more friends who play 360.  It would be great playing with you on the ps3, but I've only got about 5 PS3 friends, as opposed to 30 or so active 360 friends... and theres the DLC, etc... Sorry domo :P

It's all good, I know how it goes.  I can't even count the number of my friends that own 360's, but I only know one other person in real like that owns a PS3.  Meh, what can you do.

It sucks, tomorrow I have a job interview and I know that if I pick the game up before I go I'll probably end up skipping the interview altogether, but if I wait until after the interview I'll have to wait until 6 to play the game. Decisions, decisions, decisions...   XD

It was a hard decision for me, but I'm getting the 360 version-- I *just* got my 360 back today, and I'm ready :P

I can't blame you there.  You have a 360 and a PS3, and the 360 version is going to get DLC, plus achievements.  I've read that the PS3 version has slightly fast loading times and a slight edge graphic-wise, but they're basically identical.  DLC wins.

Bah, at least my friend with a PS3 is picking up the game tomorrow so I'll be able to play with him online.

I haven't played the last two, (DS and Wii), or the arcade ones, but here's my list:

1.MK64
2.MKDD
3.SMK

From what I've heard I think that if I had played them my list would be something like this:

1.MKDS
2.MK64
3.MKW
4.MKDD
5.SMK

Lol, this might be a blessing in disguise. Now you can organise your bookmarks so that you can easily access them.

It's true, as much of a pain in the ass it is.  I lost all of my bookmarks once and in the process made separate folders to organize them better.  It worked out nicely, and in the process I realized that over half the bookmarks I originally had were sites and threads I didn't even need bookmarked to begin with.

Play UK was the pickiest.
And by the pickiest I mean 96%?!
Something's either really kick-ass, or they all were paid very heavily. ^ __ ^

Actually 98%.  :P

They must have done something right to have that as the lowest review score so far.  There's no way they could possibly pay off this many different publications.  I can't wait for tomorrow!  I just wish more people here owned PS3's so we could mess around in the multiplayer... :'(

It's hard to say for sure, but this just might be the coolest thing I've seen all day. Also:

Quote
Since 2004, Force Dynamics has built a reputation as a world leader in driving simulation systems.

We are releasing this video anyway.

 XD

So who's picking this up tomorrow?  If you are, for which console?  Oh yeah, one last thing... to those of you that still think that the 10/10 from IGN was a fluke, check this out:

Average Score via GameRankings - 99.8%

Average Score via Metacritic - 100.0%

This is completely off-topic, but I seriously lol'd at the list of related videos.  "Come closer to see a sexy girl with hot body",  "Two married couples !@#$% in foursome swinger action",  "Hot Girl gets !@#$% Photoset",
"Sexy Girls Get Their Freak On", etc.  What the hell is that all about?

Anyway, I liked the part where they were dramatically running down the hallway, when Stalin punched you, the Falcon Punch, and the bloopers.  Boredom can be awesome if you have a video camera.

Sounds cool, I hope you finish it.  Here's a page that has a lot of MGS sprites, tiles, and other stuff that will probably be useful:

Thank god for contraceptives.

QFT.   This drives me insane.  Ever seen the rainbow 6: lockdown one with the 9 year old screaming at his mum about chocolate milk?

This one?

Anyway, the only time I've ever experienced this sort of stuff is while playing Halo.  I've never had it happen on anything else.

Other Discussion / Re: What's your hair and eye color?
« on: April 27, 2008, 06:12:51 pm »
My hair used to be almost black up until about a year ago, since then it's slowly been changing to more of a copper-ish color.  Around the same time that my hair started changing color my eyes did too.  They always used to be dark brown, but now they're hazel, almost green.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Chrono Trigger and the Ico "series", (Ico and Shadow of the Collossus).  I don't really think I'll ever experience a situation where I would need to defend those, but I would if I needed to..

Honestly only the Zelda and Mario franchises.  All of my friends fit the description of the stereotypical "hardcore gamer", (i.e. they are only willing to play Madden and Halo), and as such almost every game that I play is worthy of being defended.  I've tried to narrow it down to series/franchises for this reason.  Taking this into consideration, definitely Zelda and Mario.

Updates / Re: Dropping Support for Older Themes
« on: April 27, 2008, 04:25:21 am »
Even if you have nothing else to say other than what you are quoting, please try to put some sort of content along with it, (example: "I completely agree. Midnight is the only theme I use, so I have no problem").

Anyway, I use the Zora theme, but I suppose I really have no problem using a different one as long it is fully functional and mostly complete.  Do what you have to do I suppose. *shrug*

Yep, go to your profile, then Look and Layout Preferences.  There's an option that says "Return to topics after posting by default".  Just put a check on the option and the problem is solved.

You're late by 2 and a half minutes.  :-\

Yeah, I realize that now. I'm going to delete my post. :-X

That's the game, thank you so much! XD

No problem, it's what I do. I'll pass on the sex though, lol.
