Pretty good movie, imo. It was kind of a letdown, though; I went in ready for a comedy, but it's more of a drama. Not only that, but there's hardly any action with the exception of one scene. It seems that, like Hancock himself, the movie would rather DICK around and drink booze than use its amazing potential.

Hear the haunting words (They'll find you alone)
lost children with no heart are crying (Turning their hearts into stone)
and you're the lost mother they're calling
Go now, run and hide (seek more than vengeance)
I hear them crying at night (your pain is their satisfaction)
outside when the planets are falling (for the rest of time)
They want to feel and know you hear them (Go now, run and hide)

I'm going to see it tonight, not as a comedy, more of an action film.
I am hoping that it's gonna be good.

I went to see it today, and I really liked it. :D
The ending (especially with the moon, wtf) was kinda weird though, but besides that, a really cool movie. (:

Looked hugely overrated. Just like I Am Legend. I hope I'm surprised, but the concept doesn't look that good.

Set your expectations low and you'll enjoy it, but if you buy into all the hype it'll be a huge disappointment.  I thought it was good, but definitely not good enough to sell more tickets than "WALL-E" on its opening weekend.  In contrast with the other big summer movies so far I'd say it's about on par with "Get Smart" overall.

I'm going to see it tonight, not as a comedy, more of an action film.

If you want to see a good action movie go to "Wanted" instead.  It's !@#$% awesome. "The Incredible Hulk" would also be a good choice -- it's not as good as "Iron Man" or "Wanted", but it's still pretty decent.  Don't get me wrong, "Hancock" isn't bad or anything... it's just not as good as some of the other options.

That's the same thing I thought. I was a bit suspicious, since I had seen I Am Legend and didn't like that one at all, but I was really positively surprised about Hancock. At one point during the film I was thinking, whoah, one sec, that's a bit over the top, but yeah.
imo, it's a nice movie. :D

waitwhat, a part two? Nooooooo D: that'd ruin it. ;-;

I didn't like Hancock too much. It just seemed very dragged out and I was expecting a big ol' battle somewhere at the end... So I was kinda disappointed.

So... Iron Man is good, huh?

I'd rather go see Wall-E. <3 Pixar.

Hancock didn't really intrigue me at all. The concept seems... meh. I Am Legend was an excellent movie, though.

I'd recommend not seeing it as an action movie at all because it really isn't. It's a mellow-drama.

Looks like a pretty good movie. I'm not a big critic like some people, so I might enjoy this one.

Mm, I saw it on the opening night, great film, although I admit that there's not that much action. It's pretty intense at times, but I didn't get too worked up because when I got to the cinema I accidentally bought tickets for the wrong time and when I went into the screen I caught the ending of a previous performance >_<; so I knew how it was going to end.
