This isn't a screamer, but I didn't hear the music, because I thought the video would be creepy. It is.

The video is narrarated by text. It shows the progression of schizophrenia by painting. The artist is Louis Wain. That cat with the energy fields creeped the !@#$% out of me.

Yeah, I've seen some of those pictures before. We did a unit on mental disorders in Psychology last term. It's pretty fascinating stuff.

I actually really liked the progression of the pictures.  One man's insanity is another man's epiphany and genius has always been subject to radical criticism. Granted, I acknowledge that the man was slowly overcome by a mental illness, but my point remains.  In the context of history a man will always be seen more for the things that he did rather then what caused him to do so.

I have to say, even if they were painted as a result of a mental illness, I prefer his later ones :P.

I didn't find it creepy at all, well except for the fact of how dramatic the changes of art were after the schizophrenia took its toll.

I guess the last 3 pictures did creep me out a little, it was like a cat, but formed out of scary jaggered patterns.

The first "different" one, the cat with the eyes staring downward, I found to be the creepiest.  It's just something about it.  Not staring into your soul, just something weird about it.

The cats dressed as people were the creepiest ones. Hell, the ones under the influence of his schizophrenia were actually very cool; inspiration always tends to come from the strangest of places. Some of the greatest art was only created as a result of suffering on the part of the artist. Sad, but true.

Woah, that is really cool. I would agree with many here that his paintings became far more interesting after he had schizophrenia. It changed his perception and how he viewed the cat, and probably his painting in general.

Fractals are really interesting concepts; being functions everywhere continuous but nowhere differentiable is kind of a neat thing to be.  I kind of wish that I would have seen that video prior to an Art History paper that I had to last semester in college though because it would have been more interesting to write on.

Actually, the last painting is a cat- I can see a cat there.
