Or 5, or whichever one it is.  This is the third Final Fantasy game I've played so far, and so far, it is my favorite, even though that isn't really saying much(although, I enjoyed both Chrono Trigger and SMRPG very much, even if I never did finish them), as I haven't gotten very far at all in the other two. :P

Anyway, I just came to ask, what should I be expecting?  And what do others think of this game?  I'm more interested in the next one in the series(or at least I think it is) after reading the review in the recent Nintendo Power issue.  Is it worth buying?

It's a very fun game.

Except a good game with likable charactes and story.

Well, I've gotten a lot farther, I think, and for some reason some of the story has been a bit predictable, but it's good so far, for a non-Zelda game. :P

Why would you want to do that?  I'm stuck at that part just before finding that guy(who is supposedly related to Cid) in theLibrary of Ancients, or whatever it was called.  I guess I've just been training one kind of set of characters too much, and don't use enough magic.

oh, you're at the part where you fight the fire demon biblos.  yeah, hard battle if you're under level 17.  at least you get him as a summoning magic. do you already have shiva, the ice summoning magic? it really helps.

The kid is related to Cid Previa cause his name is Mid Previa.
Also when/if your at the boss of the area.Be aroun level 15, have 1 Summoner, 2 Ninjas and the other being Whatever.
Which ever comes first have the characters do this:
Summoner summons Ifrit.
Ninja 1 throws Fire Scroll.
Ninja 2 also throws Fire Scroll.
4th party member attacks(if Physical Fighter), or casts Ifrit(if Summoner), or casts Fira(if Black Mage)
Doing this will take down the boss in 1 round.

oh, crap, i got biblos and ifrit mixed up. i guess that's because you get ifrit in that place.  i think regulus is better than me, he was only level 15.

Yeah i beat Liquid Flame at level 11.
I just had 2 Summoners, and 2 Black Mages when i went into the battle. Though they were actually 1 monk, 1 black mage, one, white mage, and 1 mystic Knight. I summoned Shiva, then used Blizzara twice in a row, then summoned Shiva and it was downed before it had a chance to change forms.

Wow, thanks for all the helps, guys. :)

I've got them all on level 20, and have gotten Shiva on my second try(first was by mistake, before going to the Palace of Water, or Walse), but the problem is that none of them are Mages, Summoners, or any sort of magic users.  I guess I'll go and have to switch their jobs and train them more, and buy more tents and potions.

well, i think the game got really boring after you get to the second world, then it picks up again in the "third" world.  i hate that galuf dies.  i did that in case anyone wants to know a big spoiler.  i love giving spoilers.

There's another world?  I thought I'd be already almost done with the game, with three of four crystals shattered.

nope, three worlds. here's the ranking.

first world- medium hard
second world-easy hard
third world-harder than medium hard, but not hard hard.

but when you rank them, you have to put hard in there, and there ranked according to how hard they are compared to each other.

I see.  That's good to hear.  I was frightened that I'd finish the game in just about seven hours, which I'm at now.
