Firstly, instead of importing push, pull, grab, etc to the movement engine, try importing just movement to fleshy's engine. Less things you need to work with then. Just looking at the runtime I can already see a lot of Object Order and Collision issues. The core mechanics (Pushing, Pulling, Movement (minus camera scrolling), Throwing) are not all that different between GBC and LttP styles. I highly suggest you look over the GBC+ engine for some organization ideas. Not only will it make your engine flow easier, it will also make things more organized and easier to find/squash bugs.

Things to look at:

-Use of collision masks
-Qualifiers to group several objects together (HUD)
-Animations and Movement Stoppers (See: GBC+ Lifting, the player can't control movement while Link is lifting something, this is how it is intended in the games too)

I definitely welcome the return of this project (I did help develop some of the sprites for it after all). Can't wait to see this :).

This is sweet stuff man. The text box's width might be too wide, though? It looks like there's an unnecessary amount of padding on the right side.

I don't think so, it just looks like each word is too long to fit with the wrapping he has set. I'm sure it goes right to the end when it has space.

Well I got a couple of things like goodnight's engines if you need any, anyway nice to see that you reopen your project.  Your game basically inspired me to make an lttp back then :D.

Out of curiousity. When do you think you will be able to release a demo?
The screens look nice. I'm interested to find out how sturdy the underlying engine is.

It's looking very very good. I must say that I am very impressed with the work here. You seem to be producing a lot of new content and very frequently. At this rate a demo won't be far off. I see you need help and whilst I would love to get involved with this project again I simply don't have the time. Hopefully you'll find someone :).
