Alright, so I've been toying around with Cryptography lately and I was wondering if bit swapping increases the bit strength. I've noticed in some encryptions that some bit swap more than others, and their bit strengths are much more higher. Take for example, RC5 vs. RC6. Some say RC6 is just an upgraded version of the RC5 with more bit swap methods. Oh, and let me point out that I have a VERY small understanding of Cryptography and its mechanics. Anyone want to have a go at helping me out?
