NCFC (Nintendo Community Fangame Convention) is happening again this year for 2009! It'll happen from October 26th to the 30th. ZFGC has been one of the main affiliates for the event ever since it began, and your community would be a great asset to our event again this year!

There are some changes that will improve the site and help it become a better success - for more information, see the site: http://www.nintendocfc.com/

Feel free to use the contact page to ask more about it, or use the forum's Pre-Discussion to discuss about NCFC this year and previous years! For those of you that have gone before, we welcome you again for the event! For those of you who want a chance to show off your Zelda fangames, take this opportunity while you can!

And if you've never been to NCFC before, you will have the ability to on the date it shows there!

Thank you for your time, and having this site stay connected with NCFC, we appreciate it very much! Keep checking back to the site for updates, and we hope to see you all there when the event begins!

Sincerely,
DJ Yoshiman,
Producer of NCFC

I don't have enough substance to enter this year. Maybe next year though...

I was going to post a news topic about this but I was putting off on it due to not having a part of what was going to be addressed completed. But yeah, the NCFC is coming up.

Something I posted in Announcements:

Quote
Also though as you should note, projects which are going to be in the NCFC are also eligible to be moved [to the Team/Sponsored board] if they are participating in that event.

Basically anyone who has a confirmed entry in the event will get there project moved to that board and a bunch of attention - in the form of being in a board that is less populated and getting some form of news on the forum and site.

And also, feel free to use and give credit for the GM Minish Cap Engine if you use it and that would help you!

As a reminder to anyone who has a project in the NCFC, your project's topic can be moved to the Team/Sponsored board for the duration of the event! Additionally, those participating in the event are free to use this site's project pages as booths for their projects; other arrangements can be made so long as a fair amount time is given to implement them.

Realistically speaking the turnout this year from a quick glance feels a little low from us - unless your all ninjas with your projects and their development. But yeah, the point being, if your project is entered in the NCFC event, ZFGC will support you and help you out!

The radio is currently being prepped for the pre-show. Be sure to be there for it at 9 PM EST, and to be in the IRC at that time!

To make sure you can connect and listen to the radio fine, try it right now. You should be hearing a high guitar playing to the tune of "Conversation with Culex," and respectively, your player's title should be showing "Girlz Melon - Conversation with Culex," or alternatively, "NCFC Radio" somewhere.

Hope to see you all there tonight!

Yeah, that is kind of sad; especially considering that there were more than a few other projects here which would have faired fairly well. If someone really had wanted to get there project to the event, I would have tried to help out as best I could to make it so; although, I am busy too. But yeah, good job King Tetiro and Bludleef for getting your projects up. One can really only attain true victory when ripping it from the gnashing teeth bite of defeat.

I kind of wish too that I could have gotten my Pokemon project I've been working on out there. It could have probably won that category.
