Okay, so I need a good river zora for my game. (Specificly a Geozard in MC style. Sorry, my spriter went out of town.) If you want to know more about thier appearance, go here --> http://zeldawiki.org/Geozard (http://zeldawiki.org/Geozard) <--.

You can start with this pose I did.

Well you have to keep in mind too that the number of spriters on the forum has gone up a tad recently :P
-
Thankyou Leduardo. ^ _^ Now all i have to do is mimic the keaton's poses into the geozard's, which shouldn't be too dificult.

It would also help if they actually had to make it for a game and not just your collection.
-
I asked for it for my game actually because I needed gaurds for my "zora empire"
-
You do realise Geozard's name in PH was River Zora right? And that River Zora's are primitive and are the enemies of Sea Zoras right?
-
I guess yeah, but I need a TOUGH gaurd for the empire and river zoras do make a impact for one of the dungeons (cough a village as a for once nice race of zola cough)
-
You do know that "Zola" is a mistranslation, right? :P They don't actually exist in the Zelda universe under that name.
-
Yea it is because a pure japanease acent can not pronounce the L so they ponounce it with a R. They thought that was the case for the word Zora. Things like that and "Gannon" were replaced in ALttP.

Umm, the Japanese people can't pronounce the letter R not L. :P
-
No, he's correct (for once).
In so much that it seriously rings through my head constantly how many times Ryuuk said "Raito!" in Death Note.
They pronounce R's just fine. It's L's that aren't pronounced so well. What's funny is that typically you'll see "L" romanized in place of R's in Japanese media.
-
Well, where I live they can't pronounce the letter R, instead they use the letter L. So, it may just be here, what do I know. :P
-
Wow I only said ''zola'' because I didnt want to type out river zora because im on my phone so typing is annoying lol

Yeah it could vary region to region. From what I understand it's not so much because it's hard to pronounce, but rather hard to discern the difference between the two in the first place, which results in the mispronunciation. It could very well be different in say the Kanto region vs the Kansai region.
-
Random,
I can't wait to see the finished geozard's work.
-
i did this one.

I beleive your sprite is really really lovely, but it is still missing some stuffs, mostly the colors are way to similar making it really unnecesary, apart from that it looks more like lttp shading, the beak looks more like his lips D; here is my try:

-
The perspective on the feet is wrong and he's neck looks a bit too fat but the shading is better.
-
I was to lazy to check a reference on the legs XD, about the neck, well I expanded the sprite one pixel wider in the middle so it was a pair number instead of a odd number, that made the neck look that way, I wasn't able to look on reference since there is just one small image on geozard D;.
-
I did as you said, Kren, eliminated the color that was similar. I thought it was better. Also changed the colors for the character to be more enlightened, but not as much as yours. In the face I not imagined a beak, but a beard or something like that. I also changed the shade of clothing. I loved the eyes that you suggested, I changed mine too.

Hmm, only 3 frames (4 because the middle one is repeated) for the entire walking animation per side. Seems a little to short. With such clear legs as the Geozard has, it will look a bit jumpy.
I don't know what normal is. But I think the Moblins also had so few frames, and that never looked to good either. It won't make a fluid motion at least.
-
its the same...

-
Of course its not the same; its modified.
I took the Moblin for the construction of Geozard.
At first attempt I did from the Pirates of the sprite "Zelda Navi Trackers," but the animation is too big to enter the scenarios of the homes "Minish Cap Style". So I looked for examples not to run both the scale. The character I found was that Moblin. Of course, I have to made some editions to walk without the spear.

the "its the same" directs to his post and means that you ( Leduardo ) used the same animation as for the moblins and that its enough because of that...
that you edited a sprite is visible for anyone...
( why do i have to explain everthing in long sentences which i try to hold short -.- )

i like them they look cool
