This is a double question:
What would someone need to control the wav volume amount in Game Maker? An MCI command? I'm trying to steer away from dlls cause I can't program them myself. I know GM has a command for this but I want a little more control than just low and high. >:(
Also which is better in terms of size to use for sound Effects: MP3 or Wav?

Use wavs for sound effects. DONT use MP3s in a game, they're HORRIBLE with size ;x

There's such a double standard about religion in the modern world. Catholics can gather, wear white robes, and say "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti" and be considered normal.

But if my friends and I gather, wear black robes, and say  "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", we're considered cultists.

sound_volume. :P Only works for WAVs, though, and you have to set sound volume individually. But you could also set the global computer volume. Not sure how this is done, but I saw something about it on the gMC, try looking there.

I tried. Someone said I was asking a noobish question and now for some stupid reason I can't log in! They banned me for being an idiot? That makes no sense! Anyway, yes what I was wanting to know is how to control the global volume.
