Right click My Computer -> Manage -> Disk Management. If it's under there but not formatted, then format it. LOL AT MY LACK OF WINDOWS 98 KNOWLEDGE. (I used to be a master with it.) Logged

Run fdisk from the command prompt and create a/some partitions on your second hard drive then they should appear under my computer, then you can format them into a fat32 file system.

how do I make sure that I don't format my main drive? <_< I've never used Fdisk before.

Reputation: +0/-0 Offline Gender: Posts: 466	It's pretty hard to screw up and delete your main partition with it. You actually have to select the delete option and then select the drive etc... So as long as you don't select the delete option you should be fine. Logged
