Having issues getting into my old photobucket account, was hoping SOMEONE here saved my LTTP version of Valoo.

Anyone able to assist?

Dunno, just thought it'd be a little fun. No real privledge or anything, just instead of normal rankings all the people who have been a member for a certain number of years and has (at some point) contributed to the forum greatly should get a nice shiny tag instead of the normal ranking :P.

Like a golden "Veteran" Tag.

All in good fun though :D

Now all we need is TRM to release OoT2D and the internet will explode.

:D!

Online for any of the games isn't hard at all. Check out some of the n64 emus out there and you'll realize they just trick the system into thinking it has 4 people on 1 box rather than 4 boxes.

No that hard to do.

Some examples of my work:

and just for the hell of it, my really really old, and pretty terrible Megaman edits:

If you need anything done, give me the style you need, the color pallet, and any other specifics. I'll see what i can do. I don't have a ton of free time being busy with the navy and everything, but i'll try to get it done soon.

I thought you weren't allowed to pilot if you had your eye sight modified...? Or is that just High Performance Jet pilots.

It's waiverable these days.

Also Aircrew get Aircrew wings, and jumpers get jump wings.

The only enlisted personel with gold wings are Seals and Aircrew. Everyone has silver.

i don't know why i want to do yet. I'm currently aiming to be crew on a C2A-Greyhound (loadmaster maybe, i dunno). I don't qualify to go helo unfortunately, with my eyes being 20/200 at the moment. Once i get my eyes lasered up in the near future i might try to get requal'd on my second enlistment. I wanna get a full ride through as many aircraft as possible (and possibly get my jump wings to... that would be sweet).

Once i get my wings i'm probably gonna get them tattoo'd on me. Either across my back or on my chest. We'll see.

All of it. The entire thing. It all sucks. :P

In all seriousness though, I'd just like to say there was a huge overhall while i was becoming a sailor. I really like what i've seen so far (best of all no glitches yet!)

Swoot.

Because i'm nice i'll share a secret with everyone. Is your desktop background/theme/whatever a darker theme and your AIM looks out of place? Say no more!

It's very simple to do, here is how you do it! (It also comes with a neat transition effect between colors!)

Go to this folder:

C:\Program Files\AIM6\services\imApp\ver6_1_41_2\content\bl

The bolded section MIGHT BE DIFFERENT. If you have an older or newer 6.1. However IT MUST BE 6.1 (so ver6_1_xx_x).

Find the file named "blGadgets.box", open it up in notepad. Ctrl + F for "theme/black". The first one you find will be this line:

<box:aolImageButton style="colorPickerItem" selectablePopupChild="true" focusMode="ignore" collapsed="true"
                                            icon="box://imApp/theme/black/images/icon_selector.png" s:fill="#a0a0a0"
                                            skinPath="box://aimToolkit/theme/black/brushes_default.box"
                                            on:command="setUserSkin('box://aimToolkit/theme/black/brushes_default.box');"/>

I bolded the important part. CHANGE collapsed="true" to collapsed="false". DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE IN THAT DOCUMENT.

Save and close it.

Now to turn on the cool transition! In the same folder, open up the file "bl.js" in notepad. Search for the following "var g_bNoSkinTransitions = true;", minus the quotes. Change true to false. Save. Again DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE.

Now restart aim. Click the color pallet, and the new icon!

This is a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood Gourry.

You called my character into question by saying:

Quote
Gourry, of all the people I would least expect to hear that from you. You are actually concerned that they are too girly or "faggish"? What happened to you having an open mind about things you know? Sporting womens jeans, goin' with the flow, "whatever" mentality?

And yes, i do consider how many words are in my post, because posts like the previous one have too many words and i never finish reading them. It looks like a big mess of jumbled words. Also, try using the enter button more often.

But anyway, i still think we should use something other than the hearts.

FA2002zorz: ahaha
FA2002zorz: okay those are some pretty gay hearts

But again, not a big deal either way. By the way, this is the FORUM FEEDBACK forum, so i'm giving FEEDBACK. :O

I just think it's funny he see's the need to read into my calling them gay, and then tries to call me out on being a free spirit and all that jazz.

A simple "Nah kid, they're fine" is about the same as what he said. Instead he felt the need to call my character in to question. Preachy little mother... :3.

I never said they needed to change, i just said I think they need to change. I'm allowed to have opinions skully.

Also this is why you sound preachy:

Quote
Actually if you tallied the replies to this topic you would see that a vast majority of the people like the hearts, followed by some who are neutral and don't mind them or don't really see a need for a change, and then lastly the ones who disapprove of them. They are a major Zelda icon. Anybody that comes to this forum probably knows a thing or two about the Zelda franchise. How could they think anything other then "heart containers from MC" upon viewing the forum index? And even for the small number of people who would have a slight issue with them, or thought they looked gay or girly. I doubt that would cause somebody not to register. It's not like its just a random heart. It's a big part of Zelda games and I think anybody who has any wits would understand it and look past it.  Has anyone left because of these indicators yet? No.

cut out unneeded words:

Quote
Tally the replies in this topic; most people aren't bothered by the hearts, and there's few who dislike them. It's not just a random heart; they are a major Zelda icon. Viewers, even the few people who dislike them, most likely think "heart containers" when viewing the page. It's a big part of Zelda games and I think anyone who has wits about them would understand and look past it. No one has left over it, and I doubt that somebody would choose not to register because of it.

70 less words and far less crap to weed through. Everything is concise.

I CUT YOUR POST IN HALF! :O
