The Dantz Marathon needs your suggestions! My music is either danceable and energetic or quiet and a bit melancholy. Here are some bands that come up frequently on my block:

Death Cab For Cutie
Lupe Fiasco
mc chris
Coldplay
My Morning Jacket
U2

I suggest Radiohead and Fleet Foxes.

Edit: Also, you should play some Beck. He's pretty awesome, generally.

Edit again: Give Cake a try too, although I'm not too sure how well they fit into your block.
