Most rap is degenerate, disrespectful and sexist. I will NOT tolerate that, hell I don't listen to Rock songs that are like that. But to be honest, I tend to not restrict myself to a certain genre of music, I have as broad as possible music taste. I do however stay away from hugely mainstream-influenced !@#$% (JLS anyone?) I'd rather listen to melodic songs than rhythmic ones. I don't hate it, only dislike it, also because of the demographic it's aimed at. I listen to an Australian rap/hip-hop group the Hilltop Hoods quite often. Logged

A lot of radio rap is pretty tasteless (then again I find myself liking a lot of it because I see it as really silly ) Most of the really good stuff in the hip-hop genre gets less airplay. Logged
