Okay, I'm not really a part of this, but i thought I'd just pop my head in and say one little thing about this issue you seem to be having.

I agree that there needs to be "quality control", which Taka currenty controls alone... but I think he should pick a few more people (who know a thing or two about spriting XD), so there is a more fair system of choosing what stays and what goes.

Giving people options for tiles just makes this seem unorganized, uncoordinated, and plain confusing.  Stick with selecting carefully, but you need more than just taka (no offense intended taka :D)
honestly I prefer taka alone, later there might be some problems, since the judges will select bad things, Takam, is the one who started this, so he alone should be able to decide what fits zfgc style, but it's up to him, I will not use this so dunno what I am doing here XD

But it's almost impossible to keep order without a leader, or at least some type of governing body.  If "anything goes", even one of MY sprites could make it into here... and I really can't sprite.  You need somebody to reject.

It's a rock.

I think that the way things have been run is quite fine. .TaKaM has a lot of spriting experience and obviously has an eye for art in general. There isn't a specific "standard" or an example that someone can follow. It has to be something you know and something you can do well. You can't be taught how to judge art. There are only a few of really good spriters on this board that have already found the said talent and can consistently produce a very high level of artwork. Most others are still on the road to becoming that.. which is fine. However, any Average Joe cannot be held responsible for the judging of a style that will define a community. Sure, everyone should have some say, but in the end, it should be left up to the "experts."

the asymmetrical tree trunk is better, part of the basis of this style, and it kinda needs a grass tile at the base so it can be AA'd properly to the ground (as objects that connect get AA'd in this style)
the extensions to the bridge's support beams are good, I'll put them in
thank you limey, can we please just drop this and get back to work?

You forgot to add the rock into the mockup. It's really nice and it should be in there.

It's a great sprite because you can use it to block paths OR to put in the water. I made them glow pink so they look radioactive. Hope you don't mind Limey. =D

just go over what a walk demo needs, obviously we still need a full link sheet, other than that stuff like treasure chests, rupees and hearts that you pick up etc

Think,gm if I make snow and 2 other people make snow, its time wasted.(duh)
You mean like this?

If I may make a suggestion...
.TakaM deletes this entire thread and starts it over again with just the accepted tilesheet. Anyone who's ever contributed anything submits it again in the new thread, OR if someone wants to plough through all 63 pages to compile every sprite/tile that has yet to be completed/accepted and post it all in the new thread, that would extremely helpful. Just a suggestion, obviously, but it's getting difficult to keep track of the unfinished or yet-to-be-accepted stuff and it's gonna lead to duplication...
