I started this game a week ago, undercover, I didn't release anything.  My friend and I started coming up with ideas to make this wokr out.  There are 4 Zones, the Water Works, the Sand Tower, the Snowy Mountains, and the Moon.  When you are crossing over to a new zone, you are given the opportunity to save your progress.  You can load a game at the title screen.  Each zone has its own number of parts and boss.  The credits are shown when you beat the game.

CONTROLS
Escape: Exit the Game
F2: Restart the game
F4: Full Screen/Windowed Mode
Arrow Keys: Move the character
Z: Jump
X: Slash Attack
C: Toss the Sword

Well, I didn't get very far, and I'd like a longer range of attack, but other than that it seems fine.  I can't even make my own platforming engine.

You know htat you can throw your sword, right?  Press C.  Its up there in the controls.  Did anyone beat this yet?

I think it's a bit hard... and i went to the boss, hit him as much as i could, then i thought he was dead, but like 10 little !@#$% came to make me die... What i had to do?

Very nice game. The graphics are quite simple, but the gameplay is very good, and the music fits the game quite well, congratulations.

EDIT: Remove the ability of saving your game by pressing F5 and F6, otherwise people can cheat doing this. ;)

I found two bugs:

1-Sometimes when you jump and toss the sword, it doesn't come back to you properly
2-Sometimes the character dies but you're still able to throw the sword (though you can't walk)


Also, there are some things that I didn't like very much, but could be repaired:

-The engine for walking over the ice isn't very smooth. I think it would be better to use friction.
-The Slash Attack is almost useless when you can throw your sword. This attack should have an advantage, for instance, dealing more damage to the foe or being able to hit a foe that is above or below you (for instance, in a inclined floor). Also, the range of this attack is too short; I always get hit whenever I use it near an enemy.

Ah, and BTW I'm currently at the 3rd boss.

Just finished it. :D The moon zone was a very nice stage, but too easy. The 3rd boss is much harder than the final boss: For the 3rd one I had to try more than 5 times, but the final boss I beat at once.

Why fix something that isn't broken? oh wait doesn't go with this case xD
I mean, they are not great but still they are good, trying to fix it would be a waste of time since they are not bad.
As for the game:
I can't jump over a wall in level 2, therefor I can't go on.
I would also suggest to move the jump from Z to UP...if press UP jump.
It would be better...
The game looks simple yet is fun, I like it. ^^

It's not a bug, that's part of the game. I also spent a lot of time trying to jump it. The problem is that you have to go up and breath again... But there is a way to pass it, keep trying to jump in different ways ;)

-180 degree Slashing
-Fixed death bug
-Fixed the space ship not hurting you
-Press Ctrl to take a screenshot incase something else is wrong
