New Screenies :D.  Uma, its not hard to do, but its not simple either.  You just have to know GML fairly decent.

Thank you,

I've mostly been updating the engine, which is turning out great, but I've also been improving the graphics:

You know it looks better than it once did ;).

This engine is amazing. Couldn't find any bugs, it seems to work flawlessly as you advance levels, overall extremely well done. You are a brilliant coder.

Are you going to make a game from this at all? Or is it just a passing thing? A game in this would be pretty nice... it's a good engine for it.

I keep asking DL about making a game together, but he keeps like "OH MAK TEH GRAFICKS ME SELF ARG INTERNET PIRATE" and stuff.

I would love to make a game with such a great coder, but right now, I'm busy with other junk. Mainly a revenge game against a forum that banned me a long time ago... *coughgamingwcough*

Yay I can't wait to download and play it.  :) XD :-X

So I played the new version.

I have some stuff to say.

1. Knockback (player and enemy) is NEEDED! I don't know how many times I tried to kill a bandit only to get stuck inside him unable to attack with my hp slowly lowering.

2. Saving. Add it. I wanted to go to the next part of the game but I got bored leveling <--- Also with saving you don't have start over when you die by unfortunate circumstances.

3. Healing without leveling up or using a potion. Maybe you could regain HP by sleeping in your bed.

This is pretty awesome :D, I've been missing these types of RPGs, I hope to see more work out of this soon ;) and I like how you've changed the graphics, it suits much better than the old ones, at this rate I see a lot of promise, well for me anyway XD I love these games.

Pretty cool man. I got to the town just now but I found a bug which stopped me from playing, when I went to the INN I stayed the night by talking to him twice and the screen faded to black, when it faded back in again I couldn't move, I was overlapping the INN keeper if that matters..

The only other thing I might say is that in the forest it might be nice to have a little more contrast between the green of the trees and the green of the grass/ground.

Might be nice if you could make the screen 2x as big as an option if thats possible.

But yeah good job, I would play a full game made from this, in fact I'm going to go and play it again hehe.

Woah... thats werid! I live in Florida! O_o

Anyways, downloading now! :3

Edit: For the like the buhmillionth time, GET RID OF THE RTP! The game over screen, music, most sound effects, ect... change those! At least get some Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy midis to replace them! I hate RTP to death!

... other than that, it was great!
