I just downloaded the World of Warcraft trial (I already have the game, but one of the CD's didn't work right during installation, so I decided to download the trial), because a friend of mine (who is a really hot chick) wants to play it with me.  However, I do not know what her World of Warcraft username is or what realm she plays on.  Can I play with her no matter what realm I join?  And if not, can I switch realms to the one she plays on?

You'll have to find out her name and realm, then roll a toon on that server.

The idea in WoW is that you have an account name.  You can create 10 characters on 5 different realms.  Find out what server she plays on and go start a character.  If you wanted to switch a toon on one server to an other, you can do that for a fee via worldofwarcraft.com
