so you mean they will go through months of planning, designing, beta testing, all of which reaches back to before 2010 even began, and all of which would of cost them a damn lot of money to do, just for a one day prank. Let's ignore the fact that this "new layout" isn't all that new and was in fact made available to partners (or most partners) months before today, and some non partner accounts got this new look before a few weeks ago. And I've even seen this layout a few weeks ago when I reformatted my laptop and had to re sign into youtube.

I believe that those TEXTp videos in the "Spotlight" section are the April Fool, but, sadly, the layout is not. I hope to be proven wrong though.

Yep, it was the TEXTp videos that were the April Fool. Btw, I just signed in to my account and it doesn't seem to be too drastic of a change there. I think I could get used to this just fine, though I do like it the way it was. :-\
