That's a poor excuse, Darklight. My town has 8,000 people and a shitty theatre and I still saw the film on release date.

Film was great, in my opinion. I was expecting a little more from the funeral scene (like how in the book the centaurs and the mermaids and all the different friggin' monsters and cultures came to mourn for Dumbledore) but otherwise I thought they did pretty well with Half-Blood Prince.

If you thought it was a !@#$% film, it's probably because it was based on a !@#$% book. Personally I thought the film was better.

And I hate this whole "duh, they left out important scenes" attitude. It's a book-to-movie translation, for !@#$%'s sake, forget the book and suspend disbelief. They have to speed things up. At least they made it entertaining and coherent. Try admiring how the film makers actually picked out as many of the entertaining scenes that they could, and left out the boring political ones, in stead of whinging that the entire book wasn't there. Film makers try as hard as they can, and I think Yates did a really good job at directing this... I'd argue better than Rowling did at writing it. It's not the content, it's how it's executed.

Harry and Ginny's kiss was !@#$% weak.

Harry on lucky drug was lol.

Actually I'd assume there'd have to be a whole development in royal etiquette so she doesn't look like a !@#$% spastic when she plays.

I had about 500 on Silver.

Then the lithium battery died. Indeed, too much turning off while saving >_>.

I had all the Pokemon except Celebi, too. That's 250. I think I've told this story about eight times though.

o.o yeah but the "too much turning off while saving" part lets us know you DUPED YOUR POKEMANZ! >=^(

There were many Mews to share around.

Playing Pokemon is pretty much the most un-dorky thing you can do.

Like when pretty much everyone in my grade got really into Pokemon last year. That was amazing and intense.

I remember back in the olden days, woman didn't have rights to pokeman.

Legend of Princess feels more like noitu love than zelda, but it's really exciting.
Since there are so many indie games, I'd take it that this list is based on only what you've played.  Can we add to the list?
Sure. Either make a recommendation yourself and I'll modify the first post, or post a game and I'll investigate it myself when I find time.

There you go Sprite Collector :).

As for OoTGB - that's cool. I love the toned down colour scheme. Can't wait to see more.

Serebii got a few screens from the game. It seems that you can get a Pokemon to follow you so it's similar to Yellow I suppose. Doesn't look too bad so far and I like that weather vane.

he got em from the little japanese teaser

god i can't wait for this
There are people in the comments talking about Nintendo not including the return to Kanto.

If that's the case, I'ma rage hard.

Good for you! An original game is a much better idea. Can't wait to see some screenshots.

Funny thing is, I'll probably end up getting both also.

Gold and Silver were what ruined it for me though :'( not because they were bad games, but because of a statement Nintendo had made when they were released in Japan. They stated that they were going to keep the pokemon names as close to the original names as they could. Sadly they still had some bs name changes, kinda felt betrayed XD (at the time, I had owned the japanese silver... This was a while before it was released in the US... I was already accustomed to the japanese names :\)

ANYWAY. Off of that rant; I kinda lost interest at that point, but this definitely makes me wanna play em again :p Especially considering it's probably going to have all of the newer pokemon too.
I agree that the new Pokemon games shouldn't be so similar to the original.

Personally, if I could take control of the series, I'd set the next games in Medieval Japan.

The only thing I don't get is if they will or will not implement the day/night feature again seeing as they left it out of the newer games because of the fact that kids had to stay up late for the features that occurred at the nighttime part of the game but I am not sure if this would really bother me though if left out.
Err, there was a day/night system in Diamond/Pearl >_>.

I'm happy, but I kind of don't like the Diamond/Pearl style with this game. I sort of hope they fix it up a bit.

It'll be fun going back to Kanto as well :).

My apologies Hoffy, it wasn't my intend to insult you. But I don't have a medical degree. I was just wondering why 3D stereoscopic goggles aren't compatible with your retinas, as you stated yourself.

PS: if you want to return the favour go ahead.
Nah, it's cool. I was just bothered when I posted that.

There's so few games I actually want/play on DS, I'm happy to just buy them.

59
whoa awesome O_o

I'd imagine it won't be integrated amazingly. It's a cool idea though, I think.

What does it matter for me anyway? Those damn 3D glasses don't seem to be compatible with my retinas ;___;

I don't know what condition you have with your eyes.

Well I guess if you can't solve the mystery, no one can. At any rate thanks for blatantly pointing out that there's something wrong with me. Y'know, when you're in the mood you can just call me whenever you want me to return the favour, I'll be hanging by the phone.
