The American line-up will be different. Strange choices though, there's pretty much nothing there people were actually excited for .

None of these games are even remotely appealing, nor is "OoT 3d" or "Kid Icarus".

But then, it took the DS several years before it even got ONE good game, so, I imagine it'll take a while for the 3DS. Maybe three times as long before it gets a good game.

e: or maybe Nintendo forgot how to make a good game. The Wii would support this theory. And the first party DS titles...

Other than OoT3D, the only other games I will ever probably buy for 3DS if I get one would be any Resident Evil(No! Not that crap one based on the last movie) and any Final Fantasy game as the FF games are better IMO in the last few years on the handhelds than on the consoles.

That's pretty sad battery life. I will be picking one of these up though. Oot3d is a definite, and the VC is something I wanted when I got my DSi, but never got. It'll be fun to play some classics again. The actual 3D features are worthless to me.

I'll wait for the upgraded version of the 3DS. It probably has better battery life, because it will be one of the many grievances and points of ridicule with the 3DS. 3-5 hours reminds me of the SEGA GameGear and Atari Lynx. Two huge devices with very short battery life that were supposed to be handheld devices.  :P

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. Since I'm sure they'll announce the 3DS successor a month after it's release. XD Curse you DSi XL!

well, it's using relatively new technology so it's understandable that it would have a low battery life, like Niek said just give i time and they'll improve it.

the battery life is a blow, im kinda thinking I should wait for the 3DS lite with better battery life. (c'mon, we all see it coming).
Street Fighter, Ridge Racer and Layton all look good to me. Still hoping for OoT3d launch over here though.

(hey everyone, its been a while!)

I'm looking forward to playing Resident Evil: Revelations too! Apparently it's actually meant to be a lot scarier than the recent REs, more akin to the early games which had less enemies but more well-planned-out scares.

It also looks better than anything running on Wii!

The problem with the RE trailers is that they mix a lot of prerendered graphics with regular graphics. For the most part though it looks like the 3DS has better shader support, but lower polygon support :P I think it will look pretty on a small screen anyway though.

Yeah thats most likely prerendered, baking to an avi file on a computer is cheaper than trying to render it at runtime on a handheld.

But I must admit that I am seriously interested in Super Street Fighter IV. I have a PC with hardware that was (GPU & CPU) that were released after Street Fighter IV was released and it still sucks playing. Too much lagging and all that. Ah well, I shall keep myself content with Super Street Fighter II for the SNES. And it is not as if I can't pick it up after the launch.

The shader support is what's gonna make this system :) Already a ton of games I can't wait for! Paper Mario being one of the headliners :)

There's gameplay footage now.
