I wish I had a 360 so I could get it. Similar sounds, similar music, and Kazooie still messes with Banjo. HARD. Also, w00t for Mumbo! Your thoughts (and anyone elses for that matter)?

Yeah, I'm getting this if Rare don't screw up on it. I'm very much looking forward to it.

Platforming IS a part of the game, you know. IIRC, some people thought the FLUDD might screw up the gameplay in Sunshine, but I didn't think it did. Also, the building interface reminds of building Gummi Ships in KH2. It's a new feature that is there to add to the gameplay. As the old saying goes:

I haven't tried shoving a cactus up my arse yet, but can't I make a judgement on that?

There's gotta be some things - games included - that you can flat out say "Yeah, I won't be trying. Looks like it sucks IMO".

No it isn't man, Rare looks to be shaping up. They could probably make a great Banjo game.

Just because their past record isn't that good doesn't mean this won't be. It looks awesome!

No!

* Hoffy shoves a cactus up Pyru's ass.

... what was this thread all about again? Oh, right, Banjo. Yeah, I'll wait until the reviews come in, but honestly, the vehicular system looks really quite fun, especially the physics they're associating with it. I hope it's good though.

I've always wondered why it wasn't put in the sequel, I love it how rare has been putting easter eggs in certain games with the Stop n' Swop thing, if I had a 360 I'm sure this would be THE game (for the BK fans anyways, I hope ;).

Quote from: IGN
At its E3 press conference, Microsoft announced that Rare's original Banjo platformer will be released this year for the Xbox Live Arcade. The game will feature slightly upgraded visuals and the long awaited "stop and swap" functionality originally promised at its release more than 10 years ago.

Unfortunately no screenshots :/. I hope they make it look as good as Live & Reloaded.
