Shoot the Wii annoys me.

I was playing Metroid Prime 3 today. I started standing up, eventually i sat down on the couch right next to me. Played for a little bit, then the Wiimote icon thing on the screen turns into an orangeish circle with a line on it. And i can't move it for a little bit. Turns back, i keep going, it keeps doing it on and off until i stand up....

Yet it seems to work fine when i move like 5 feet back and sit down in a chair >.>

Besides that Metroid Prime 3 is !@#$% awesome., I''m on the planet after bryse or whatever, The jungle planet i think it is, with big gaps in the air and the thing i have to ride.

So far i'm loving MP 3, such freaking fun, Looks nice too :)

I've never experienced you're problem with the connection.. O_o. But I agree that MP3 is awesomecredible. I'm in Skytown.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather sit down and relax if all I had to do was point at the screen.  I haven't been able to get my hands on MP3 yet, so I wouldn't know for sure.

Sadly, I've finished both MP1(75%) and MP2(86%) already, so all I have to entertain me now is the original Metroid, and I don't think I'll ever be able to get any farther than that.  Of course, there's Paper Mario, but I feel no urge to try and figure out a strategy to kill the over-powered last boss.

You just need to sync your Wiimote in with the position you'll normally be playing. My TV is too low for me to stand up, and even if I am standing up I'm too close because my couch is too close to my TV. But I like my setup, and I rarely have problems with the Wiimote at all (despite the fact that I haven't bought any games for it in a while) but all the menu navigation is fine (for VC games :3).

lol the Wii in general annoys me; its far too novelty :s

but I agree... I was playing Wario Ware (fun game BTW)... stupid thing... Sat down to play, keep in mind I'm not even an INCH from where I was standing up at where it was working fine... and it stopped working while I was sitting... >_< I miss the non-annoyance of a good ol controller

Actually, you don't have to point it at the sensor bar. If you did Nintendo would of stated and such. Plus it wouldn't ask you where the Sensor Bar is when you first set it up. On top of the TV, bottom, etc.

HOLY JEESUHS... The original Metroid is hard-as-heck... O_O Good Luck with it (unless you're a beast at action games... :P I can't beat even Cutman's stage in the original Megaman so there ya go...)
