Cool! Of course! Uni!  Yeah, I've heard from my 2 older sisters that have gone through exam period at Uni that it's a real b****, that there's little time for other things- and they'd know, one did History and one did Politics (They got 1sts!!!)

ohoho.... you've got a little bit before that! maybe try one of the demos or wait for the Deku- based one.... whatever the poll comes up with.  Hehe... sexy field..  >:D       Screenshot of the Ordon Village Entrance...
oh yeah, the "squarish" corners are not accidental- it still is based mostly on the GB zelda games- so some things'll still be "blocky"  
the trees are just placeholders- as the game progresses, they'll gradually be replaced.

quick question, was there coloured text in z1? i thought it was white in either a text box (start of dungeon) or staticy (caves/old man etc).. i played it around 1/2 a year ago, and finished it, but i didnt come up with coloured text.... i suppose it's custom to make it more OoTy....

It's not bad, but the thing that kills it is the total lack of control in the jumps :\ Whether you hold jump or not doesn't affect it enough to be beneficial D:
MMMMmmmm.. i might make a sequel sometime... i made this way back when i first started using gml instead of DnD.

Yup! i should make a scedule like that.. i've been pretty much doing things as i go along- coding-> a little area made -> more coding -> a little bit more made .. etc.

Update:

I'm starting work on the main field bit now, and i'm about 30% of the outside, and 10% of the inside, like the market and caves. The main field is like the Hyrule Field from OoT.. I'll post some screenshots of the progress if you want.


Also, just wandering on your opinion, do you think that the tree on the moon (MM) is like the tree in SS?

Just wandering, KT, how did you get your game into sponsored if your game isn't PoTM- yet.

Is it because of the progress, or because the admins think your game deserves a special place in sponsored?  XD

Just modify the text it's not hard, I believe replacing the Minish font with one from a GB game will be all you need to do.
Hmm thanks, I'll try that out. But I don think it'll work because the Minish text is almost the same, and all of the dimensions need to be changed.. That was what I needed help with..  :huh: but I'll take your advice and change the font. Thanks!

It didn't work :( i'll try somthing else... still taking help.

I found this perfect text engine, but the text box is a little too big... could anyone with a good knowledge of editing other people's scripts help me? if i'm not being too needy, could you use this text box:

i dunno.. i would play it anyways- i like the z1 fangames.. it would be interesting to see how kren does things.. it wouldn't be OoT, never, but it could very well be a fun game to play! i look forward to those mock-ups!  :)
