Hmm, he's very different from Miyamoto in several ways, but he is very, very talented. He's more similar to Kojima, but with more style and originality. Kojima's following Hollywood, while Suda's following cult films. Kojima's the Ridley Scott whereas Suda's the Rodriguez or Tarantino.

Damn this game looks nice

You can lock on to enemies and strafe around them like in Zelda. You do a normal attack combo by tapping A (not waggle), and you can vary this by moving the Wiimote up or down to change attack stance (and combo). You can also press B to kick the enemy to knock them off-guard. For the finishing moves and special moves, indicators on the screen pop up how to move the Wiimote (like slashing it horizontally, or moving the nunchuck and wiimote upwards to do a wrestling move). You can learn more wrestling moves in the game.

So, there's no real waggle except for the special attacks. It apparently works really good. All impressions about the sword fighting are positive.
