the fact is, that'll never happen. Personally, I love both games, but I think I like WW better (storyline wise anyway, it was epic :O!). But no matter what Nintendo does, there will ALWAYS be people that are going to !@#$% endlessly about something like this, be it the graphical style or the gameplay. There's no avoiding it.
Well said, my sentiments exactly. AS for which is better TWW or TP thats difficult for me, TWW was alot funnier and the overworld was so radically different...I mean the lack of boundaries made it bigger than TPs overworld, at the same time combat while sailing was really annoying. Having to stop dead in the water in order to attack? C'mon. TP on the other hand had superior combat and more diverse and interesting overworld. So can't say which is better...
Either way this topic has been made several times now and it gets alittle tiring reading half the fanboys complain its too similar while the other half bash TWW for being completely different.
One particular, who is a good friend of mine, he complains despite the fact that he hasn't actually played the game in any great depth and has never seen the first half of the game. I'm certainly not "bashing" him for his opinion but I feel that the game should be played from start to finish (and not a rush job either, stop and try the fishing, the white water rafting((best minigame in TP)), the dozens of completely optional minigames and sidequests that are present in the game) before he can really judge it.
@Kleaver: I think you might be feeling the same as myself, you expected more than the game delivers, despite the fact that it is absolutely stunning from start to finish it isn't as epic as it was hyped to be. Often one level would lead directly onto another with literally nothing in between, an example of this is going straight from the Arbiters Grounds to the ToT and the only thing between the two was a drawn out race with Skull-Kid. Like I said, this is one of my favourites along with MM but I even so, I was naively expecting more.
