I gave it a shot based on Max´s concept

Definitely better than my attempt a while back. When you finish this, can you create a tile sheet of each tile in there with 1pixel cellspacing? 16x16 pixels per tile

Yeah. That would be no problem ;)
And I will finish it, probably tomorrow. xD

Looks pretty dope dude! With the diagonal windows especially, that part looks nice. The luxy houses up in the nicer part of Hyrule should have some of those too.
On a slightly unrelated note this makes me think of, this should probably get moved to the sprites/tiles board for consistency's sake. But also maybe we should give that forum a characters/locations split, because everything else is almost obsessively organized.
On another note, Spritonic how are you so prolific, blows my mind a little :p

If you have the artwork of the houses I could get right on it :P (Teamwork? xD)

I have a lot of time... xD (Considering that its summer here in Spain and that I´m 15 :P)

Looks pretty great, man! Still love the alcove with the windows, and the second floor study looks sweet. There's a couple things about the second floor's floor that bother me. The beams over the opening would be floor beams supporting the second floor logically. That means a couple things to me, one that they wouldn't be wide and thin, because that's not strong, but they'd be thicker beams. Also, they wouldn't go over the floor where they meet, because they're holding it up. It's also not too logical to have a stone floor in this case, since it's being supported by wooden beams. Other side note is that the posts with rope/chain used as railings don't make a ton of sense inside a house either, you always see fixed railings in houses.
So those are basically little details based on logic from the real world, and this is a video game. If the design is better ignoring logic, go for it. But I personally think paying attention to those details and thinking about unimportant things like, "how did they build this house?", those details make a good thing better.
On another note, sometime we should make a teddy bear to sit on one of the beds, or a toy boat to go on a shelf, etc. To make it look like kids live here more.

I will see what I can do. I´m putting the finishing touches on the castle and will post it instantly!!

Haha, I did a quick thing to explain what I was thinking. Here's what I came up with, but I think the tiles I used for the floor are too busy and distracting. Maybe simpler wood floor tiles would work better.

Actually the floor looks great!!

That is sick

Dope!

And just for the sake of completeness...

Wow, that was fast! This makes me want to make more places! Hyrule town maybe?

Whatever you wish to work on!

Whatever you wish to work on!
Well OK then!! XD

Hey, so is this done, or just the first floor?
-
I'd call it done. The 2nd isn't tiled in game yet, but the sprite looks good
