Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's baaaaaaaaaack. Last night Leviathan and I were talking over AIM, and for one reason or another, he asked if he could play JatEP. (I think, I don't remember exactly
) So I end up going through my files, find him the demo... Yada yada yada. Lo and behold, sitting in the mess that is my Angelfire account, is a copy of my source. So... it's back
If you were a ZFGC regular in 2003, you'll remember this. If not, try it, it's fun
The game's about some random kid named John (Note: I am not named John. I picked John because it's a generic name) who decides to buy a cat... Unfortunately, he buys Lord Snickers herself. Snickers takes control of the Rod of Time, and starts to run amuck with time. John brought this evil upon the Earth (Or technically the postman did...) so it's up to him to stop Snickers.
Genre: Platformer (With Adventure Fields, ala Sonic Adventure, although at the moment they're bare)
Players: 1 (Duh)
Estimated Playtime: (Demo 3) 45 minutes (Snickers boss) 3 minutes
SCREENSHOTSI whipped these up real quick by request of Leviathan, so I could make this topic >_>

http://www.angelfire.com/ego2/walnut100/Snickers_Boss.zipDemo 3 includes 3 levels of gameplay, The Bedroom, The Dungeon, The Beach (Sand Francisco), along with two bosses. Demo 4 is to add The Forest, another boss, a whole mess of bug fixes, and some improvements in graphics (If you haven't noticed, the Beach has some graphical improvements over Demo 3
)
Feedback is always welcome. Also, bugreports can help. I know more about coding than I did in 2003, so I can probably fix up some of the bugs... I already worked out a buggy enemy in the Forest >_> Oh and one other thing... Don't hit Enter unless you want a menu to popup that you can't close. It was something that I overlooked when I went to finish Demo 3.
