I just got a 19 Inch monitor! Its friggin MASSIVE  ;D

Im running on 1280x1024 resoultions now  :P
I can see twice as much on the screen now!

Life is good  :D

Technically it's just wide :-p.
I bet my 17 inch is just as tall.
But still I'd like a widescreen display. But I'm running on 1280x960 now and it's fine.

Ill never go less than 17", im too used to what i have: Anything less is less functional - I can output more when...more pixels are output, really.

Congats on the 19" Kleaver. How much was it?

Your are lucky I got a optiquest And I am guessing that it is 15 inchs and it a pile of crap
it on the highiest it can go for conte?? and brightness and I can brealy see S**t :(
Oh well it is just like the rest of my computer This keybroed is about to die the mouse cord is short
my speaker is about the only good thing on computer that runs even the Computer has to be started by Thouching two wires together
this computer was my mom and it was state of the art in about 1999-2001
But to back to the topic That awsome for you Kleaver

I can push it to 1200x1200, but I guess my videocard supports it like rubbish cuz the screen is all blurry and its a bit off the center. But that would be even better  ;D

I didnt pay nuthin cuz we got it from relatives...But I looked up some and people are selling it off secondhand for 80 euros or so...thats like, $97,-
It isnt even a LCD! And it weighs like friggin 25 kilos! (55 pounds)

* Kleaver loves metric system converters

Spaztic, old monitors are cheap...you can get nice ones for a steal. Unless you want LCD...what are your system specs?

I don`t know my mom and dad put together I mean they found a video card here a motherborad there
it is a coustom Pc If this help it can`t run WOW but it can run starcraft and diablo2 at the sametime
and that is about it =-\

I have a Dell 1703FP monitor..not sure how big it is, but my res is 1280Xwhatever the other # is.

Just go to Start > Run > and type in: dxdiag

This should give you a list of your clock speed and your RAM. ;D
And some other !@#$% nobody knows the meaning of  ::)

I'm going at 1680 * 1050 myself (widescreen). I think my monitor is about 19 inches too, I dunno, I never measured :P

Yeah, widescreen can handle those sizes, but ive always had squares.

But you're running on the oddest screen resolution ratio I've heard of - 5:4 :S.

Mines about 13 or 14 inches. Hp pavilion mx50. I found it in my basement, it is now officialy the oldest part of my computer.

1280 x 1024 is a perfectly normal setting. Its 640+640 x 512+512

Congrats on your new monitor kleaver :D

Mine is semi-widescreen.. (a laptop), and 15 inches I think?  Actually it may be 16 inches :P
