my friend and I want to know how to spawn living NPC's, all we can spawn is ragdolls.

npc_create npcname in console, with cheats on

example, if you wanted to spawn a zombie


npc_create npc_zombie

lolz, get with the program, its all about gmod10 with all the awesomeness changed from gmod9 (Although you have to pay for it ;))

It's some time ago that I used Gmod 9 but I spawned NPC's with the menu that appears if you press Q

I tried using the sv cheats 1 command, followed by the npc create command, but it didn't work.

can you type in the exact things I'm supposed to type in the exact order?

first do sv_cheats 1, hit enter

then do npc_create npc_zombie and hit enter

there should also be a spawn menu.
