The meat off of the chicken bones.
So far we're enjoying the game. I guess i was wrong in assuming it was a bad game. Only thing that annoyed me was when i was messing up with the Spinning.
Definitely not a bad game.

There are three major flaws with the game:
1. When you start the game and it yells "SUPER MARIO GALAXY!" in the most annoying voice/tone possible...there's no way to avoid it short of muting the TV.
(It just makes me feel extremely embarrassed, even if no one is around)
2. The complete lack of camera control is some areas and levels...more often than not the areas that you could use it most. I don't understand why they didn't include camera control for all the levels, just in case.
3. The Boo suit.
Outside of those three, (the third one is debatable), relatively small gripes, yep it's outstanding. I loved almost every second of it.

I still don't have a Wii, but the game looks like it would be worth getting a Wii for, now if we only had a competent reseller for video games. :(

It is most definitely worth getting a Wii just to play it. There is no doubt in my mind that it is the best Wii title to date, by far. MP3 came close, and TP was decent, but I don't think anything will top SMG for some time.

The Co-op 2 player thing is fun, my brother would play the game and he'd get all frustrated and need my help :P.
Spoiler warning: He beat the game and has Luigi now, he looks pretty cool and fun to use, so I can't wait to get Luigi. XD

Super Mario Galaxy is a great game. I got every star and you will definitely need help for some of the last stars meaning "The Purple Coin challenge on Toy Time Galaxy!". It was hard but it was worth it.

Well, it's a whole lot better and Wii-worthy than that stupid overated port...I think it was Toilet Paper, but I can't remember...
It's definetly one of the most original games I've played, and the only other game I've 100%ed than Metroid Prime 2 and possibly LoZ. I only wish there was a bit more to the story and that some of the suits had more uses. Hell, I didn't even have to use the Ice Flower on "The Frozen Peak of Baron Brr." But other than that, it sits in the middle of my top five.

TP was a great game, regardless of whether you thought porting it was worth it or not.
I still haven't got Galaxy, because it's COMPLETELY SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE. My best chance of getting it is paying £50+ ($100) for it.

i managed to preorder it from game i think a few days before it was out easily :S
although i've not played it much O_o
atm i'm just waiting to get my debit card (taking over two weeks?! D:) so i can by some adaptor to convert the red and white audio leads to whatever and then play it on my monitor via my pc with sound, instead of my thousand year old small tv :x

Yes but now that it's a while after it's come out, nowhere has any left in stock.
There are games currently out selling Galaxy for that reason only; if there was more stock for the game, it would be outselling everything else.

I bought it at my local Best Buy... they had several copies. But then again, Rock Band is "supposedly" sold out, yet there was a huge stack of them at Best Buy as well :P
I got it... it's alright. Its fun, but I don't see how this is worth scores of 100. I'd give it a 94 at most. Still: it's significantly better than every other 3d mario to date, if you ask me.

Yes, but how can you not be sure about a game that got a 9 rating or higher at so much websites or game magazines?...
Because i don't base what games i buy based on reviews?
Plus i'm not a fan of space levels with the gravity things like weird moving and what not.

I think it only has single-player MODE. Which automatically makes it inferior to games with DIFFERENT MODES.

I got Super Mario Galaxy a few weeks ago and have loved almost every minute of it, some levels I dislike, the toy land galaxy is really frustrating, but the msic is awesome, the sobering story of Rosaline is a bit of a bummer too. I just can't believe how much better it is compared to Sunshine, and I loved Sunshine too, I'd easily give this a 9.8/10 if I were reviewing it, which I'm not. so I wont....oh I just did.....!@#$%.
