w00t Reputation: +0/-0 Offline Gender: Posts: 1983	This is just an idea, but... Perhaps Firefox thought your download was lagging when it really wasn't, so by the time it realized "Hey! It's actually downloading!" you had finished 1 MB of the file already. Firefox tried to "catch up" and showed that you downloaded it at 105 kb/s. On the other hand though, I highly doubt it. Given that it's a 7 MB file, you would probably notice something like that. Did it actually download in under a minute? That's highly unusual. Logged

Wow! You download at 1000Gb a second!

It usually depends on the host or seeder for your download speed. Mine can go up to 2MB I think, but there are hardly upload server going above 500kb...unless you are lucky.

Say when you click a download, while you're choosing where to save it or whether or not to actually download it, FF begins the download. But the speed counter only starts when you hit the download button. And er sometimes FF just sucks and doesn't realise it's downloading the file, which seems to be the case here. Logged
