4, 5, 6, 7, or 8. :(
Sweet, I'll get started now >|;3!*points at updated rules* They ARE allowed, so long as they aren't visibly drawn, due to GM's shoddy collision checking ;) Also sprites used as sort of "markers" such as red blocks to signify where lava drawing objects will be in-room are permitted, but so long as sprites are NOT visible. This will be looked through thoroughly!
Are invisible mask sprites allowed? (they're needed for a lot of GM's point-to-point functions)
No graphical resources, fonts included, unless solely used for drawing text. Fonts like Webdings and Wingdings are permitted, because those fonts are silly and would make for a funny game :)

Wonder if anybody else is going to think to use an awesome vector graphics style, rather than just ugly, basic primitives..

LOL I am starting to wonder if this might be a bit too excessive:I would have suggested you used a for-loop with an array that had the contents of the sprite in it. Unless that'd be too much like having a sprite, or something.
I was actually just thinking of having each "frame" in a text document that is loaded on-the-fly as needed.LOL I am starting to wonder if this might be a bit too excessive:I would have suggested you used a for-loop with an array that had the contents of the sprite in it. Really confused as to how other people are being close to done. I've been thinking about gameplay ideas since the contest started.
Oh we're posting screenies D:

- All work is to be PMed to myself 1/14/11! (earlier if you'd like)
Just moved into MSU, but I forgot to put my GM8 onto my laptop so now I have none of work.
BTW, Travis, you should show me around town, like all the good burger joints, bars, etc. :p
