How would one go about programming a script for sliding on ice that incorporates into goodnight's movement script?

Like.. How?
Im thinking of just starting with movespeed at one, and just increasing it after holding down the key, and when the key is let go, progressivly lowering it.

Gamemaker has a built in variable called friction just set a number to it

Will it work with goodnights code? Probably not.

Can somebody just send me a script? This is for the ZFGC engine :D
