Title: New Metroid Game announced
Post by: Hero of Vortex on June 03, 2009, 01:54:00 am: So, Nintendo announced Metroid: Another M, developed by Team Ninja, at their press conference. The accompanying trailer showcased some gameplay and full cutscenes.

Personally, I think the cutscenes look a little generic/Final Fantasy-ish. The rest of it also seemed pretty generic and non-Metroid. Et vous?

Oh well, might as well make this focus on the Metroid, and the other on the New Super Mario Bros.

Anyways, I like how this game seems to be turning out. Even though it's pretty different from the other Metroids, it looks pretty damn awesome.

Post by: Dantztron 3030 on June 03, 2009, 03:32:15 pm: It could be a great game and I trust Nintendo with the license, but I'm not exactly a huge fan of Team Ninja. Hopefully they'll be able to keep the generic anime !@#$% in check and remember to make a good game.
