Coding / Re: [Engine] Megaman X Password System ~ Complete

Seems really neat. I don't have GM on this computer, but I will definitely be looking at this code later.

One small bug I found: if you move the cursor onto a new location and press the button immediately to change the index the guy gets stuck in his standing up animation until you move onto another location. (I don't know if I explained that well enough)

edit: 666 posts WOOOOO!

I love the first Ghostbusters movie. Bill Murray is absolutely amazing in that movie.

As for the game. My brother bought it and I played it a few times. It seemed pretty good from what I played (which wasn't that much). It wasn't great by any means, but it had a lot of the original humor and character of the movies, so from that perspective it's really good.

I'm looking forward to a few albums

Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mR8Z-gmK1g" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mR8Z-gmK1g</a>
Their first album was amazing. This one seems like a huge change of pace but I'm still excited to hear how it will be.

Panda Bear - Tomboy
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jtniF1le38" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jtniF1le38</a>
I !@#$% love everything Animal Collective. They are easily one of my favourite bands ever. The individual members' solo projects are also amazing. Panda's last album was brilliant. What I've heard from the new album seems very different, and I'm not sure if I like it. I still have faith that this can be a great album. Now if he'd just get around to making a release date...

Scale the Summit - The Collective
For anyone who hasn't heard of STS, they are a instrumental metal band. Almost every other band that I've heard trying to do instrumental metal has been boring. Somehow, though, STS manage to pull it off. I saw them live when they opened for Between the Buried and Me last year and they put on an amazing show.

Just played quite a bit of Osmos.
This game is very fun and relaxing. The basic concept is that you can only consume things that are smaller than you, and by consuming them you grow. And the only way to propel yourself forward is to shoot out mass behind you. This makes it very interesting as you have to try and propel yourself as little as possible to get to your goals.
Also, the soundtrack is very good.

I got it.
Only played Revenge of the Titans for a few minutes. Seems interesting so far at least.

Did anyone else notice that the top spender is Notch (the guy who made Minecraft).

I had to go to Youtube to confirm that it was actually just a emulator + Super Mario Allstars on a disc, because I didn't think Nintendo would even do such a thing. At least Zelda Collector's Edition was on a system that couldn't download games, and it had a menu. This is just pathetic.
Plus it was, you know, free

If you want something incredibly easy to learn you can learn Brave by Katatonia
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NQhHqxmAvg" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NQhHqxmAvg</a>
Katatonia at this time also had Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth on vocals

I hope the slider allows you to completely turn off the 3d effect D:

That !@#$% tends to give me a headache.
In the video you can see that the bottom of the slider is labelled "OFF".

That video was amazing. Funniest thing I've seen for a while.

Also, is your friend the same guy who did Final Fantasy: Gil Quest?

I don't know why you keep calling them techno, they really have nothing in common with techno.
Electronic music != techno.

That being said, I haven't listened to these guys that much but I've like what I've heard. Good band.

I'm already cooler than that guy. I just wish I could be as cool as this guy though.

And I also very much enjoy Asher Roth and his new mixtape, Seared Foie Gras with Quince & Cranberry. It's a free release, so if you too enjoy rap music, you should get it.

Also, ITT let's discuss and share good rap music.
I don't know how anyone can like Asher Roth. Also, link doesn't work.

Anyways, I love rap music. As people can probably tell from my avatar, Wu-Tang is one of my favourites.

Can someone provide links for the game, rom and other stuff?
There's already a thread about it in completed proects: http://www.zfgc.com/forum/index.php?topic=12655.0
The rom patch file isn't illegal by itself, so you can download that. You'll have to find the rom yourself though.

Entertainment / Re: Fans of rap: Best rapper?
« on: January 04, 2010, 07:59:40 pm »
This is not a topic for those who are not fans of rap. I don't want this to be a rap-hate thread, so if you don't like rap don't post. For those of you who do appreciate rap, who do you think is the most talented rapper? For best free-styling I'd have to say Eminem.
Eminem? Really?

The answer is obviously GZA

Anyone used Google Wave yet?
If you haven't heard of it, it's a cool email/IM/discussion board(and more probably) client that, in typical Google fashion, runs completely in the browser.
Right now it's invite only. My brother got me an invite and once I get some I can give them to some zfgc users.
So has anyone tried it yet? What do you think of it?

I haven't started episode 2 yet, but I really liked episode 1.
The slowmotion thing didn't bother me a whole lot.
The main thing that made the game awesome was how well you preserved the style of No More Heroes.

edit: Tried episode 2, it was just as good as the first one. Except, I couldn't figure out how to hurt the Kamek. I tried for a good 15 minutes.
