Eh, your vote, your choice.

Although both artworks are outstanding, I decided to give "points" to each of the characters, and whoever got the most points for effort, art, originality, storyline, etc... won my vote.

In the end, I decided to vote for Hane.

ZFGC Character Competition 2007 / Re: Hall of Fame 2007
« on: August 02, 2007, 08:05:54 am »
Whoa, I had never expected to get this far, not with Mr. Wrong or any fused characters.
I must say the one who created most fear for me was Fox and his Bobo, and at the same time it was really fun because he and I did a collab art sorta thing :3 - I'd like to thank him for taking his time to create that with me =D (he rawx.)

Then I'd like to thank the creators of Tommy and Bakudan, our characters merging gave me a good laugh, and somehow we made it through to become number 1 in the Snowstorm Division.

Although we did claim the first place in our Division, it doesn't feel right for me. It should've been either one of our 3 characters duking it out with Ninja-Z, and for some unknown reason, I feel that I would've lost to Ninja-Z if we hadn't merged and also due to the factor that people loved a snowball in this competition (Snowstorm, snowball, get it? Ahahaha... sorry.).

SO, I'd also like to say to Domo, that I saw it as a biased fight, and maybe next character competition, we can go against each other again with proper fighting conditions  8) - you rox, yes?

And I'd like to conclude by saying that after this win I think I won't be able to get up out of the corner because of FISSURE's/Hyrule Boy's hardcore, HARDCORE skillz.
That's why I made a "long"-ish post. Um, that's about it, thank you all for your votes for you who voted Mr. Wrong, and any fusions afterwards.

I hope I can churn out something big next year if we have this competition again.

FISSURE uses FISSURE on Hyrule Boy!
It's super effective!

 XD

Haha, I liked Mr. Wrong as well, although he was only a 2-hour creation.
I don't think I'll be getting up out of my corner for this round.
Um, although I would've preferred to stay with Mr. Wrong, there's not much I can do about it now and just wanna say that's it's been fun, win or lose.

We better have another competition next year.  :D

I can't vote. I really, really don't know what to vote for :-\

No offense, I don't really understand why you would like to expel Mr. Tommy Wrongkudan in favour of your "triple poll". This character is creative, bizarre, and was pretty much created as the result of an accident. What more could you want?
I just think we can't mix the characters. First of all, they're completely different... I mean, one is a parasite, the other is an avenger who lost his memories and the other is a man who is always saying STFU to people; they have nothing in common.

Second, I think a triple poll is more fair than mixing the characters: Mr. Wrong was in a match alone against a team of 2 characters, which would be harder to beat than if Mr. Wrong had a triple poll against them separate. If that had happened, the votes of Tommy Bakudan would be divided between Bakudan and Tommy-Gun T, and Mr. Wrong would have won with 50% of the votes. Maybe that wouldn't have happened exactly as I described, but somehow similar (OBS: I'm not defending Mr. Wrong, I didn't even vote in him, I'm just pointing the logic.)

And third, IMHO, having your own character winning a competition is different from having a mix of 3 or 4 characters winning. Also, as your character is mixed, that would lose much of the "essence" of the character. Imagine if, suppose, FISSURE (which is a comic and satirical character) was mixed with Hane (which isn't comic, it's a more dramatic character). You had put lot's of effort into writing a dramatic and emotional story, and in the end it is mixed with a funny satirical story. I personally wouldn't like that to happen with my character, but it seems the competitors agreed with mixing the characters, so it's okay.

That's only my opinion. I expected that at least one or two person would agree with me when I posted this topic, but it seems that the majority of the voters and character-makers prefer mixing the characters. Okay, so just continue mixing the characters then.

Really well said.

I know we can't revert the characters but I just wanna say;

Although I didn't mind a character merge, for the next competition I'd really like a solution to solve the draw problems.

<3

--> I'd make a new artwork, but unfortunately I have no time. Exams begin tomorrow for me.

But I'd like to go with Mr. Tommy Wrongkudan just to see how it turns out, but that depends on what the respective owners of the other 2 fused characters say about it.

With huge pointing hands, a Tommy-Gun, an unidentified specie with a top hat coupled with the undebatable Mr. Wrong, I don't think Domo's zombie ninja has a chance  ;)

32
Yeah, damn. The top hat, big ass hands to just go FACE! and that Tommy-Gun to shut you right up. BAM!

33
Myyes. Let's keep it this way and go with Mr. Tommy Wrongkudan.

34
-_-;

35
Thank you everyone who voted for Mr. Wrong.

I really liked the names you guys put up there should there be a draw and a merge of characters, so I couldn't resist but offer you to name this guy:

If you'd really like something to rival or even overtake the power of Muay Thai, you should check out "극진공수단", known as Kyokushin Karate.

With this style, a man named Choi Bae-Dal (Oyama in Japanese) defeated the strongest man in Japan, and he's been known to take down bulls with his bare hands.

Look him up!
