Heya people, I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good 2D MMORPG game for me, mainly to have a little fun for myself and to analyze the game for the development of Oracle of Life.

E.g. MapleStory, Myth War, etc...

**PLEASE do not mention Runescape. I HATE it.**

I do recommend Tibia: www.tibia.com
For further information, visit the official site, the best fansite (Www.tibianews.net), and/or read my and Skully's posts in the "Why is WoW so famous?" thread. ;)
Also, please give it some time, until Level 8 it is boring... once you get how the game works... ;D

I liked Maple Story a little  childish but still fun and I love you for hating Runescap just typing it gives me the urge to go kill someone *rushes to kill anyone who plays that gay game*

NO U TIBIA! Dont play that game. Its worse that Runescape.

Have you tried... runescape? n_n lol. I dunno...

I didn't want Runescape now, did I?

But to make it more specific, the games with graphics like Myth War Online's also alright. Bird's eye view sort of thing.

After playing Tibia for three years, I don't recommend you play it.. at least, not until it's straightened up. The lack of rule enforcement is a major reason. Thousands of the players cheat and are never punished for it.

I've played it and gotten about level 104. It's a good game if you're looking for something unique... but it does have a huge cheating population.

Ah... I browsed everywhere and couldn't find decent 2D MMOs, or F2P (Free to Play) 3D MMOs.

Most of them lagged quite badly and wasn't really decent, except for few like Flyff and Scions of Fate.

So... I resorted to 2D games, which I could barely find any... Oh well, better play WoW after graduation.
