Anybody else heard of it? It is basically just a meshing together of a large chunk of the Cartoon Network universes. Apparently some fusion creatures are going to destroy everything and you have to stop them. I played the game when it was free for a while and it was partially enjoyable if not hugely nostalgic. It was neat to see how they altered the original character designs to get them all to the same kind of style.

Some of the character designs are found here:

I kind of wish that the game would be for gaming consoles, but oh well.

That uses the same engine that Brodorma uses to make games. :D

Yeah, they made this in Unity. :D It was big publicity for them, they actually made the whole Unity 2.1 update to add MMO capabilities to the networking functions just per the request of Cartoon Network.

It looked pretty cool way back when I first heard about it. I missed the beta weekend, is it open to the public now or something?

The Unity thing for the game seemed alright (it lagged and disconnected me, but my Internet was acting weird itself at that time); although it was another hoop to jump through before I even got to play the trial. As for it being open to the public, I am not sure if it still is. If it were still open, it would likely just be for the next few days.

The best part about it was the nostalgia though. The Kids Next Door's Treehouse from Sector V looked huge. There is some video on the site which shows more areas from Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Megas XLR, etc.

This honestly makes me rage.  I feel like they butchered all the CN characters.  Dexter shouldn't be cool looking!  Mojo jojo shouldn't have a tail!  The Eds shouldn't be so realistic looking and Mandark...just...ugh *shudder*  Why the hell is he wearing a Spawnish looking cape?

What, butchered? I consider it to be a compromise really. Ed kind of looks like either Bert or Ernie, but really, if all characters looked like they came out of the Ed, Edd, and Eddy universe, that'd be odd. As for the Mandark cape, I think he may have worn that in some episodes (the ones where it shows his lab) or in that one movie (Ego-Trip?). But yeah, some look silly - without modification, Dexter would have been a midget and the Powerpuff girls would have been handless midgets.

I wonder though if Tom, the Toonami host is in the game at all.

O.o I can't get this to work... Chrome obviously has compatibility issues, but IE for some reason doesn't like it either o.0;;

Chrome won't currently accept keyboard input from Unity players. They're working on it. ;)

Not sure what's up with it not working on IE though. Unity usually plays well with all the standard browsers.

Well I noticed the puppet flight demo always made firefox crash for me when you got to the end of the level, but it was fine with IE.

Oof, I did a really poor job on Puppet Flight. It was probably something really stupid I wrote that made Firefox crash, and IE was just ignoring it (something IE is pretty good at).
