New Metroid Game announced

So, Nintendo announced Metroid: Another M, developed by Team Ninja, at their press conference. The accompanying trailer showcased some gameplay and full cutscenes.

Personally, I think the cutscenes look a little generic/Final Fantasy-ish. The rest of it also seemed pretty generic and non-Metroid. Et vous?

Oh well, might as well make this focus on the Metroid, and the other on the New Super Mario Bros.

Anyways, I like how this game seems to be turning out. Even though it's pretty different from the other Metroids, it looks pretty damn awesome.

Team Ninja has the reputation to focus and offer great visuals. I hope the gameplay won't suffer for it. Ah well, that is what Nintendo's quality control is for.

It could be a great game and I trust Nintendo with the license, but I'm not exactly a huge fan of Team Ninja. Hopefully they'll be able to keep the generic anime !@#$% in check and remember to make a good game.
