In the land of Termina there is a legend...

Deep within the Forbidden woods of Termina Lies a portal...

A portal by which can only be reached by a great evil deed...

Engines:
Walking: |||||||||| 100%
Sword: | 10%

Overall Demo Progress
Demo One: | 1%

Latest Screen

I have finished the overall story and am working on getting all my resources together before i began main game production.

So heres a glimpse of the story:

   A "person" is tempted by a mask they found laying on the ground. They pick it up and the mask begins talking to him, telling him to wear it. He puts it on, and is consumed by the masks evil and greed, and sets out to destroy Termina, while bringing the moon back, he releases a cursed portal, that he goes through to find a new land.

   One day, while Link was walking through the woods he discovers this portal, Tatl, and Tael come and tell him of what happened, they say that the evil masked man has entered the portal, so Link, Tael, and Tatl enter the portal together...

And that pretty much how are story begins,of course there is a big in depth story behind it all but pretty much that is the basic outline. This game will be rather short, it will consist of three main levels, and a final level. All criticism is welcome.

Looks really good but I have one complaint. You should use some grass and flower tiles on the bottum screen so it dosen't look so plain.

Looks alright, pretty decent. The fairies aren't quite LTTP-style, but what the hey.
You should add some grass and flower tiles to make it look more natural, and NPCs shouldn't be a hard addition, but apart from that, brilliant so far.

UPDATE!!! I've created bosses and new items. We have no new screenshots right now. I'm currently working on the story a bit right now.

I'll try to post something when the time comes.

Screen isn't bad, but not enough to tell us information about your game. The plot totally needs to be redone - I personally don't want to play a sequel to Majora's Mask which starts off nearly the exact same and has Majora's Mask all over again.

Well you do get to fight the mask again but it's different this time. All I can tell you right now is that the Postman of Clock Town steals the Majora's Mask from the Happy Mask Salesman.

Some new items are listed below:

Impa's Cape - Allows you to deflect enemy beams, arrows, etc. Physical attacks won't be deflected. Works like Mario's Cape in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Clawshot - Allows you to grapple items, posts, wood, and gates. The idea came from the upcoming Twilight Princess.
Golden Bow - This bow allows you to shoot Light Arrows instead of normal arrows.
Goliton Sword - You find this sword in the Enchanted Woods later in the game.

That's all the info for now.

:-\more like my idea...

I came up with that a couple months ago...

It's alright though just either give me credit or say I came up with it before you got it from TP. ;D
If you need a new storline PM me and I'll give ya a basic idea. I'm good with that type of thing. :D

These aren't "new" items though. They are cheap names for items that have already been named.

Clawshot = hookshot + a bit more
Impa's cape = Nayru's love/a simple shield, maybe a bit different
Golden Bow - just plain silly, you shouldn't have to get a different bow to fire light arrows, you should just get light arrows as an item, just like in every other Zelda
Goliton Sword = just some random sword upgrade, just like there is a sword upgrade in every Zelda game, with some dififerent name

You are so negative and 'mean' lately. It's probably his first try, don't be so harsh, nintendo in't always perfectly original, he said clawshot is an actual item, I think Impas cape was very original, WW magic shield, think nayru's love :o so original.

The plot could use some work, because Link defeated Majora's Mask for good in Majora's Mask... plus, it just doesn't feel too much like Zelda. Same with the items. But, the game is really what matters. Good luck.
