I've watched tons of videos on TP(for the Wii) on youtube, and they've all confused me.  The HUD doesn't show the sword assigned to any buttons, and yet it's used. ???  And, I'm confused as to whether the sword will be controlled depending on how you move the remote, because the animations seem like they always were, since OoT, even though the fairy on the screen moves in different directions.  Is anybody sure of how the game is controlled??

ugh...why would the sword be assigned to a button when you don't press one to use it? and the sword isnt 1:1, swinging the wiimote acts like a button press, so your swing wont match up with Links.

Yeah, the way the wiimote works in swinging - while using the sword - is that moving the remote far/fast enough simply does the same thing that the B button would do on the Gamecube version, and therefore has no correlation to the sword movement at all.
