They're pretty good; I like 'em. However, the tree's leaves don't match anything else.

luigi: thanks I am glad people like it, I started it on saturday If I am right.

Kevin: erm, do you mean I am using alot of colours or that some colours doesn't                 match?

ChaosMaster: I understand that, I have never  been good doing tree leafs, so It will probably change.

Obsequious Eye: any reason why you don't like the grass? Ex: color, texture, etc, etc.

Theforeshadower: In what part does the color don't fit together?

Thanks for the replies (:. any other c+c are welcomed.

For the most part, these are really great. But the perspective is wonky in places (the trees and rocks seem to be from a less straight-down perspective than the log and ground), and the path would probably look better done with textured dips and holes rather than dithering.

It seems like a flat sheet with things on it, almost. just use one other color in the backdrop part or something.

Well I personally think that you did an excellent job with the grass, the fallen tree log is amazing... The flowers, rocks, sign and path all fit in extremely well and fit the style. My only criticism is that the colours on the trees leaves are perhaps a little too bright for the style... But I think if you start putting other things in such as houses, people etc they will be just as bright so it wont matter.

I like it very much. Maybe it's a bit too small, but it could work with a 16x16 link. The trees are somehow small, but their leaves are very nice. I love the blue shadow :) I like very muchg the grass but the dirt needs some work with the lightining. You may make more fallen trees perspectives so it's not that monotone, but it is very nice. Those are just small aspects.

If you really want to make it look better just add a few more dettails, like 2 types of grasses or more plants. But don't worry about the dettails beeing that hard to make tiles.

They are a little too cartoony. But good anyway.
Posting in topics that are really old is not something you should do. Generally speaking, it's alright to post in someone else's topic if a month hasn't gone by since the last post; which is not to say you should go out of your way to post in topics less than a month old.
