Some Sprites/UPDATE 18.10.07

Well I have been working on this for the secret project,  ;)



So I wanted to know If you like the style this is going, c+c are welcomed as always :)

UPDATE:

Well, made this, first animation in this style :) how those the animation look? btw If you have an idea for a NPC I would love to sprite it, in this style.

they are awesome!
except the guy furthest on right's head is the wrong shape at the top, its too flat, and his legs are either too long or too thin. one or the other.
But I really like them, gonna tell us anymore about the project?

woops, I accidentaly remove the top part of his hair, Updated the first post.

Well, I am not planning on releasing alot of the project, neither demo nor WIP thread, IMO a WIP thread and a demo ruins the gameplay :).

For the first four from the left: The bodies are really slick, but the head doesn't match the style. D:

For the fifth: Okay, this guy is just odd. His arms aren't attached, his legs bend out in a strange way, and his outlining is just way off from the rest.

well, hmm how does the head doesn't match the style? hmm well the fifth guy is in armor >_> so the outline is to give more volume to the armor, thats why the legs are odd.

Kren, kick ass, i love the style looks really smooth, except the fifth guy, i see he is supposed to look armored, but you should still be able to
fix up the arms so they go like they go on the left by making the shoulder armor a tad bigger. Thats all the critz i have keep it up! :)

Norlem: yeah :) that helped a bunch I haven't finished fixing the arms but the update should help abit.

SlimmyG:the animations might be posted after I finish some basic NPCs :P



Here are 3 new npc's, well, I like them but the hat dude reminds me to the second blonde( for the hairstyle) so I might flip him and make the red part of his hat more readable.. hmm any error you find zfgc?

Also, since I am lacking of Ideas I would love to get some suggestions on what to sprite :).

Its a very good start but sure could use some work, it looks a bit choppy i dunno how to explain so i made an edit (hope you dont mind)
as you can se i added 2 frames, which made it more smooth, worked a little bit on the feets. its a fairly fast edit and might contain some wrong placed pixels. anyway keep it up, ow also i suggest use darker shades when the legs and arms withdraw. good work though keep it up!

The walking animation reminds me of Lan's from Megaman Battle Network... Not that thats a bad thing or anything.

they look awesome
but, when you look closely, they all seem far too rectangular
as in they look like their body's one simple cuboid, the arms are two other simple cuboids and so on :/
i guess parts are too angular/straight when they should be upon close inspection

Norlem: thanks a bunch that really helped me, I decided to add that extra frame and remove those pixel errors it had, I have never been a good animator I really suck at that :P, well here is how it looks right now:

It looks more smooth than before.

uma : never liked that serie :/, It was too different, right now I am playing Star force leo, really boring and to repetitive.

hawthorneluke: well, the human body is rectangular somehow :P any ideas on how to change it :/?

artillery: thanks :)

any more suggestions? I will start the sideviews
