@ DeathTailsz
Progress is good, thanks for asking, a little slower then my usual work speed but it's comming along. (lol yes I was delayed by the sprites resource being down also.)

@Drewdelz,
no you can't break pots, you have to lift them, ALTTP Style!!!
and yesh the error has been found, just don't touch the door, you don;t have to touch it anyway to get thought it. (it's been fixed for the next demo.)

Hey, guys long time no update. just wanna say I've taken a bit of a break from coding say about a month.I just recently go back into working on the project.

PROGRESS UPDATE. (all this will be available in the next demo.)
Added a map screen.        (accessed using enter)
Coded a weapons Menu.    (accessed using S)
Coded a bow and arrow.
Coded a Ocarina.              (OOT Style)
Added two Shops.                  (You can buy and sell)
Time of day.             (dIfferent from OOT)
new enemies.
A new town.

TO BE ADDED.  (stuff that I'm going to add before I release the next demo.)
Next Dungeon (Hopefully I can make it about an hour long)
ANOTHER Epic Boss
main storyline/quests
Add more more rooms
Sidequests  (add a couple of side quests to the game maybe like 6 side quests)

Add a few more Enemies to mix it up.

After all this and some testing the next demo should be ready.

HA DEAD!,
never. the only time one of my projects die is when I lose the source. now that I backup my files on the interwebs I always have a copy of the source, even if I lose the original file.

I tried the current demo, but only got an error.
After creating a profile and trying to start from it I get:

"ERROR in
action number 1
of  Step Event
for object objHighlight:

Error reading real."

Anyway screens looks good, and the lates update looks like it will bring lot's of new stuff ;)
Can't wait to see the next demo(Hopefully working ;) )

I do believe I have found a fix for that error for the next demo. :)

Very nice demo ^_^

ONLY thing I dislike is the dialog; it needs some major refining/error checking. There are a lot of grammatical errors and such.

lol yes INORIGHT. all text was written once, unedited and unchecked. I'm horrible with grammar and such. I don't know what to make blue what to make red what to make green. lol. I'm heck of a coder but not so much a grammar person.

Well you're a terrific coder and has come up with great stuff so far, so just go along and then borrow a grammar person to proofread and correct the dialogues and text before you make the final release of the game, then it'll be perfect!
...And I'm superexcited for the next demo! Wheeeee!    \(>_<)/

I usually say "failed project" 8/10 times on every project listed in this forum upon reading the first two to three paragraphs of a story a game has.

When I read your story-line for this game, it holds both perspectives on good and evil to balance them both out.
The fact you carefully took the time to make the story really makes me believe this game is going to go through, but I just hope you keep your current motivation to craft this game into something more than a story-line.

With it all, I hope this game really becomes something, not many people actually pull through with this kind of thing, good luck to you! :D

Great demo.

Loved the terrible dialogue :P. Made people sound funny.

This game is almost as good as The Shadowgazer, I can't believe I didn't notice it earlier. I think if you just fixed up the dialogue, the demo would be fine. But, I also found that some areas didn't really come alive in the demo, namely the village. Good dungeon, though.
