Anyone played this before? I got that chance to play on a pre-release version last night at a gaming convention in nottingham. It will probably suite you guys well, it's like the biggest rip-off of zelda ever, but it's suprisingly fun. It's really impressive graphically, given it's made up entirely of blocks, lol.

Haven't had a chance to play it but I've been looking forward to the US release, I saw it awhile back on the preorder list at gamestop and looked it up. How's the character creation?

Nah it's not. It's probably artistically inspired by early Zelda games, as well as other RPGs around that time period. Pretty neat anyways, I won't be getting it cause I generally just get a few games a year now if that. This year I'm just going to get BioShock 2 (already got it) and Fallout: New Vegas in the Fall. Oh, and I'm also getting Halo Reach for free.

My friend Connor (used to go here by the name of... Antibacterial Soap, or Soapy) owns his own video game review site now. Not very popular, but it gets him in good terms with some big names. Sony ignores his emails and calls, but Nintendo and Microsoft love sending him review copies of their games so he can put up a review on their site. Unfortunately he has no 360, so he's going to start sending his Xbox 360 review copies to me for free as long as I review them for him. So I'm getting Halo: Reach free :-D

Good for you. Also, this intrigues me. I can't wait to play it.

I thought it was a hearkening back to the days of pixel-based 2D goodness, but with modern 3D sensibilities...

I thought it looked like Dragon Warrior.  All the Zelda comparisons were really confusing until I watched a gameplay video.  It does seem to have Zelda-like gameplay, but the towns and NPC interaction are nothing like LoZ.

Anyway, it looks cool.  I'd try it… if I had a PS3.

Plan on getting it when it's released in America. I've been following it since before they had a US publisher, and I was worried it wasn't going to make it.

I don't have a PS3, thus I won't be playing it. But what the videos showed, it looked more like dragonquest than LoZ.

I read it somewhere a month or so ago...  Didn't really look into it though.

It's meant to be a homage to a lot of retro games, including zelda. At least thats what the guy demo'ing the game said :3

If I do get a PS3 (which would be my next system I would get), this game is definitely on the "to get" list.
