LOL anyway, The ideas I mention in my previous update are pretty ambitious and for now Ideas is what they shall remain. We're concentrating on getting the game to play well and make sure that even if the online thing doesn't work that we will still have an awesome game for you guys to play.

There is going to be a big announcement soon in regards to this so stay tuned.

Heres a new screenie, using the old Link model...for now. Anyways this is a mountainous trail that leads to the ominous Death Mountain, sorry for the lack of bad guys but I really don't want to give too much away until the demo is ready which would be alot sooner if someone on this forum would hurry up and cross the t's and dot the i's...they know who they are....  ;D

Anyways as usual C+C is welcome.

like the cloud above the mountain?

Not as epic as I thought but still really cool. The tree looks a bit out of place, though.

It's a work in progress, the tree is gone on your say so. As for the "epicness" I was thinking of making the sky darker and cloudier for a start and more smaller mountains surrounding death mountain, making it darker and moodier, what do you guys think?

Perfect, except lighting and hues.  And I don't think you've sent me that email I requested for yet?  I'll send you what you requested, just be sure to keep in mind that you still have some things to do yourself, because we really need to work out 'production design'.

DM looks sweet Uppy, and yeah you should add smaller mountains around it for scale reasons, it looked so small at first if you compare it to the tree. :P

thanks fellas, yeah it's empty at the min, it'll be busier in the final version, there will be Tektites and stuff to have a chop at. I've already had a discussion with someone on these forums on how to make the area more impressive.

And when you least expected it....BOOM! A new update!  :)
This isn't anything big, but Uppy asked me to make a support banner for FoH so I did, I'll make updated ones as the game progresses, but for this early stage this'll do.

Ooh, nice. I would use it, but I'd rather keep my current sig and avy for at LEAST a week (it'll be a record).

SPLORK! I love it! *puts it in his sig*
Okay, on a side note, The terrain I've been making has been scrapped due to a huge oversight on my part and having several texture problems. The terrains I am designing will be remade in Bryce. This will allow for much higher resolution textures, less stretching and warping and more detail which will befit the game and its newer more awesome models. I'm still going to have grass covering the grassy terrain rather than just a grassy texture, to do this I'm going to use a technique stolen-I mean borrowed from Serious Sam, the technique is called Serious Grass. It will allow for realistic, random placement of grass sprites that fade out of existence with the players field of vision.

Anyways updated screenshots (albeit just of the terrains and/ or new enemies) soon.

Oh btw anyone else love the twilight princess smiley set? They are awesome.

Aw, man, the terrain in the screenshots was so damn amazing, those Bryce landscapes better be awesome >:(!
Nice technique, the grass, although I've never played Serious Sam.
Waiting for those screenshots!

Also, I like the TP smileys, but they were NOT the ones I wanted for the forum.

I am having several problems with this project at the minute, although the project is not dead nor on hiatus there will not be any updates or new screenshots in the near future. therefore there is no point in this topic remaining open. If any of my team do not know about this and are concerned please speak to me on MSN or via PM here on the forums. Until things are resolved I think this topic should be locked.
